Anonymous, 13 Dec 2010Is it really necessary have dual-core CPU in a phone? Havin... moreYes. Simply because phones are becoming more and more like computers. And Computers need them, so phones will begin to need them too.

I think all of you chat crap. All this talk of 16mp cameras and improved performance. Not being funny but Apple is one of the best phones and its still the most expensive phone on the market. It does not have the best features on paper (or maybe it does) but it performs the best. What I mean by this (antenna aside) is that it never under performs, you can download as many apps as you like, the screen besides the non use of super amoled is the best on the market and the camera besides only being 5mp takes great stills and perfect hd with great sound. All this to me shows Apple knows how to make phones and knows what a market is.

To many pointless phones are being made these days with stupid features that only idiots care about. I'm a techy and have all these phones so I know what I'm talking about. (like the camera on the x10 may be classed as a 8mp with hd recording but it really under performs and acts more like 4mp)

The HTC desire is the greatest phone I've seen from any Android (if like me your looking for a phone not a super computer lol) but the memory is a big let down. I think its something like 200mb of internal memory which just no good if you want to download a lot of games or big memory apps.

Now please don't think I'm saying Apple is god and king cos I think if they did a joint project with HTC you'd see a really nice phone but let's be real that will never happen. but people getting upset about silly phones using the same silly android software with updated hardware to me is not really even making a phone as you only really see the same OS on all of them is stupid and oil it has saved many small companies from going under. Wouldn't you just rather see one great android phone 200mb to 30 knockoffs which have no real market or use lol

Is it really necessary have dual-core CPU in a phone? Having a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is already kinda overkill. There is no app or function on a phone that even needs the existing 1GHz unless you are watching 1080p vides all the time. Well i guess the manufacturers needs new "items" on the phones so all the du*b "specsheetnerds" will have something to buy or a have non exixtent reason to "upgrade".

abhi, 12 Dec 2010What's the benefit of dual core tegra2 processor...... ??? ... moreAre you working at SE? Let me tell you something. Dual Core Tegra2 Chip wouldn't be consuming the battery power, that means it's going to be superbly better than Samsung Galaxy S. And the dual core CPU will make this phone have the fastest system clock speed so that it could work at the highest environment mobile working condition. If you're working at Samsung Electronics, you should've studied about it! you loser!

fact is fact, 12 Dec 2010Isn't this phone only going to be released in Korea? So why... moreWhen the 1st LG Star appeared it was thought as a CDMA phone, though when other photos appeared, it shows the "NO SIM card inserted" message indicating that it is a GSM phone. Maybe 2 versions of the phone will be manufactured..a CDMA and a GSM version :D

The specs are great considering the dual-core and an 8mp snapper..lets just wait for more reviews..

That benchmark supports only one of the two processors. Imagine if it can utilize both cores meaning 2 X the performance!

We want a similar model - that is almost the same, but also has a sliding qwerty keyboard!
