And it should definitely not use Android, as it's made for the masses - it's not a premium quality OS like Windows or iOS.

To make the design better, Huawei/Porsche Design should do these:
- remove "huawei" word from backside
- remove porsche design logo from backside, then
- put "PORSCHE DESIGN" in glossy-silver lettering (with the font size as same as HUAWEI before) on the back, replacing porsche design logo

Why is everyone comparing a Porsche Branded phone with other flag ships? The point that you guys miss, do you think Porsche would affix their brand to a phone without the phone going through their own tests and QA?
If I was to ever by a Chinese phone with any degree of confidence that it wouldn't blow up, this would be it, you pay for the branding.
Having said that, I don't think I would ever buy this phone because I can't justify the cost. I don't like Porsche enough.

Huawei is far more better(premium) than samsung. You could ask the person using Huawei phones.

Its a bit expensive but if you see Samsung's clamshell W2017, that heavy brick carries a hefty price tag of around $3,000. I'd prefer Mate 9 Porsche Design any day over that.

And all current Samsung models come with expandable storage as does the standard version of this incidentally. The dual camera setup also comes wirh the standard version so that's a moot point really. The Porsche version is over priced for what it offers considering it is not even water resistant. £1000 at a push but £1300 is a rip off considering there are more robust phones that are considerably cheaper and offer specs that aren't that far behind.

You cant possibly comparing this with X3 that only have 4gb ram and 64gb internal. X3 dont even have dual camera. And its not even android. Even XL not even close to match Mate 9 Porsche specs.
