Great new phones. I think Samsung could have gone one better and included a 4 or 5 megapixel camera and a red eye reduction.

like the size too, but they concentrate too much on the size of their phones. not really a big variety on functions, same old - same old.

Ok, everything is great about this phones, except for one thing.

        The NAMES!

If these are obviously just 3G versions of D900, D830 and X820, why can't they be named Z900, Z830 and Z820 ("Z" being the Samsung's letter for 3G phones)???

Instead Samsung prefers (and this is not the only case) to mess up not only with the numbers but also the letters with no visible logic at all. If someone sees any logic in Samsung's naming scheme then please let me know.

mmm...yet another sweeeet line from samsung. I hope this new ultra line is a little more solid though. Thats just about the only complaint I;ve ever had about most samsungs. SE and nokia just always have that great solid feel to them, but they definitely sacrifice size for it. So hopefully samsung can bring the best of all worlds together. As far as I've heard in the US, cingular should have 3G by november, with T-Mobile not too far behind...FINALLY getting a nice 3G phone makes sense! :-)

p.s: anyone else know the exact dates of 3G release here in the states? Thanks!

So..3G phones could be slim and light-weight as well.
I think other brands should grow up.

slim cells are always a good move cause they are so comfortable,it has more security, no one knows that you have a cell when it is slim..........
