Enlarge the screen while the physical phone remain the same is a unwise move. It must be about the same dimension as of note if were to attract note users. Otherwise it won't work n will become another failure. Is Samsung willing to risk it?

I think a big screen will work out for Samsung. People bought the Mega phones even though the S4 was more powerful. I'd want Samsung to not only make those sizes but also 7 inch because the Samsung Galaxy W needs a refresh and their is no 7 inch tablet market.

Is larger screen going to be 4K? I'm currently using Z5P and can't use phone without 4K screen anymore.

There it is again - large screen-to-body ratio - perhaps 90%. Way to go.

Not everyone likes large screen phones,so Samsung will be releasing 3 versions on the Galaxy S8,a Normal version then "S" version, then like they did with the Galaxy S6 phones release a "Plus" version,o.k they want to please some Note users but they have to think about a normal Galaxy phone users who like the "5" screen phones

I guess, HTC doesn't have an answer to that considering the bezel size of the Pixels

They will get my money if note that I hate curved edges, like Xiaom Mix or even better a full display front, QHD OLED but even better a 4K OLED please and 8 GB RAM. Waiting with serious money for real next generation.

Dear Samsung, we want a stylus. Period. Not a larger display. Current Note size was fine.

Finally, the report also says that the larger-screen variant will carry a Plus moniker.

I am a Samsung user because of android and thin bezels. But sometimes I feel nervous how shamelessly they copy just everything from Apple. Be it speaker grill or antenna bands or phone packing or sim ejector or Plus moniker. And the list goes on.

5.1" to 5.7" is similar 0.6" difference, so I'd say it's achievable, especially if they're not putting hardware buttons below the screen.

Just add the S-Pen to the Galaxy S series and there is no need for a separate Note product line.

Samsung should make a Note 7 Neo.. Just use the available stock of shell, the touch screen, the s-pen.. The chipset and battery change to midrange spec.. Just like the Note 3 Neo.. It will sell like hot cross buns
