[deleted post]Eh, I got to finish my entire Masters program with a Surface 2 with a Type cover keyboard for the last two years. I do tend to agree that the iPad Pro 12.9 would have been great to have, if it was offered two years ago. Actually, there was already Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 way back 2013, but the fact Surface 2 has a full USB means easy for transfers, a microSD card slot meant I can still have storage to my over 1000 e-books, and running on RT means less chance of viruses.
Having 16:9 ratio had worked out for me. There was no need to to assume the person had a lesser degree than you.

I cannot agree more. I use both iPad and mini. I found it difficult to hold. My old Samsung tab with big bezel and much heavier felt comfortably to be held. I hesitate to buy iPads again as the big screens do not compensate the tiresome of holding them. Pad users usually not consider their pads' coolness. Pads need not look cool, Apple must take this factor seriously.

Never had any problem with small bezels, also I'm sure they are going to use palm rejection anyway. Bezels outlived their usefulness rime to go away and finally get the communicators promised on movies...

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2016Its a rich kids toy not a laptop for work....You can always VPN to your Home computer you know. I work perfectly well in my iPad pro. Also it's far easier to carry and smaller than most laptops of that size, so I literally have no iad what you are talking about.
Working from distance is ideal as it offloads all hard work to your desktop and your battery remains intact and your device remains easy to carry.

Apple please no bezel less stupidity! I own both the iphone 6s and xiaomi mi 5 and I know how hard it is to operate the mi 5 with little bezels. Bezels are there for good. Looks are not everything!

Really cool. The 12" iPad Pro with its 4:3 aspect ratio and mechanical keyboard options makes for a much better portable workstation than most 16:9 chiclet key laptops these days.
