I bought it and it's pretty nice. I can't talke about battery life yet as I have yet to fully charge it but on what it did have 58% it can go the distance. I don't quick charge it because i dont know if that will generate heat. A bit leery of this because its what chased me away from lg after loosing my 3rd v10.

I ordered Axon 7 regular version yesterday for $349 + tax, I am still debating I should have ordered Limited version.
Can someone let me know, is it worth buying LE Axon 7 for the $100 bump or is it ZTE gimmick

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2016They should have updated the camera, its camera is not that goodFor under $500 you get a ton of features and the camera ain't bad. It's not an S7 but it's better than almost every camera in this price range. With the upgrade in RAM I'd like to know how that affected the battery life? It was significantly better than the OnePlus before the upgrade.

K9luvr, 21 Nov 2016Not enough new features for a 25% ($100) price bump. If the... moreAny phone offering a jump from 4 to 6gb RAM is going to get a $100+ price hike. The fact it has full 360 stereo speakers, higher res than oneplus, expandable memory, and only, yes only costs $499... Sweet deal. OnePlus no longer has chokehold on competition. ZTE is on par and climbing fast.

Keep in mind that the original Axon actually debuted at $449, so the exponentially improved Axon 7 was actually over 10% less expensive than the debut price of the previous year's Axon. While of no interest to me, the upgrades are certainly fairly priced in a market where flagships typically charge $100 for this level of storage increase alone. I do hope this is just a way to try to grab a few extra sales and that the "Axon 8" will come in right at $400 again.

I saw a Black Friday price of $350 for the Axon 7. I don't remember, but I think it was NewEgg. You just can't beat that value for price. I had the one plus 3, good phone, but their refusal to have a slot for additional memory and say it's for a better customer experience annoyed me so much I returned it. Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot.

Are phone prices in this budget flagship segment destined to continue increasing?

Although, $50,60, etc, obviously it would have been much better, more reasonable and definitely more competitive. For me, generally speaking, the standard Axon 7 is the most value for money phone/phablet of 2016. But with these extra $100 for the 3 upgrades, it seems that ZTE exaggerated a bit more. But if consumers will keep buying the standard Axon 7 instead of the L E variant, ZTE probably will notice it? And for the probably (hopefully ) next Axon 8, they will not do the let's call it exaggeration again? And become i'm looking forward for next year Axon 8.

This is the Chinese Axon 7. I would advise not to buy but since USA will raise taxes on China buy it right now.

Okay, they are playing the same game as OnePlus, and so by increasing the price as well. But let's say that $99 more for 6GB RAM instead of 4 & 128GB instead of 64 it's not too too much, plus including the Force Touch as well. But let's hope that for this year to come (2017), ZTE & OnePlus will not keep on increasing the price even more then $500 for the eventual ZTE Axon 8 & OnePlus 4, otherwise they will lose all the magic that they created with the Axon 7 & 3 respectively. So let's hope that the prices will not gonna keep increasing with every single model

Not enough new features for a 25% ($100) price bump. If they would have followed Oneplus example on pricing and added $40 - 50.00 more people might be motivated to buy.
The extra ram will hardly affect performance. It might give you a little extra future proofing.
Who's going to get jazzed about the touch screen feature?

Almost any device is available if you go to the right places, even weird Japan only devices,it's just that some will not work very well or certain features will not work at all..
Anything is available if your willing to pay the price that someone else wants to charge you...

It costs way more than that here...

Will it be available in the UK though?
