4 million is probably the top end of the estimates.
Incidentally, I'm happy with my N8 and don't feel idiotic at all as opposed to some of the haters out there who don't even seem capable of forming a coherent sentence.

[deleted post]You do know that iPhone 4 was released 7 months ago? Nokia N8 was released beginning of last month. That means iPhone 4 sold 1.1 million phones a month and Nokia sold 2 units million a month. Now go cry.

well im one of the satisfied owners of n8. I enjoy social networking and gaming. I dont need 300,000 apps. Im contented with the Ovi Store. The sensitivity of the touchscreen is the best.]
N8 has the best hardware.
