None of the Lumia I have owned has done me a disservice, the company I work for all use them from the 550 through to 950, I run the 650 and absolutely love it, its very fluid and nicely constructed.
The directors and salesman are always on business abroad and say the Lumias are floor less and do everything they want of them.
My father a businessman that travels all over the world has a Iphone 6 and has had nothing but problems with it yet he said when he owned the Nokia Lumia 800 it was faultless.
I have to say I won't hesitate to try a surface device they also look very nice.

No more Microsoft phones, no more Windows Phone/mobile. My last was Nokia Lumia 930 and it was good phone but crap OS. I wait for WM10, use Windows Insider and I am very disappointed. Change too
little and too late, system with many
restrictions, a complete lack of
applications and games. Even Microsoft
software first are made on iOS and
Android! No more Microsoft products.

Rather for mature fellows, So stick with your laggy Android with so much apps which you don't even use more than 20 apps daily. Windows 10 OS is such a superior OS as per now!

r u serious? the ultimate phone? has anyone tried a microsoft phone? the app selection is so small its not the same as android or ios. installing apps out of the window store is so difficult. the OS is hard to use and uninspiring. these reasons are enough for you to stay away. I dont even get the point why are they still in the market. every phone is just a pain to use.

One thing I have come to notice about most people that comment on windows phone is that they have not used any window phone device in their lifetime, there comments are based on hearsay. While some used it almost two years ago, while other are haters and fans of other OS, paid trollers.
So take every review and comments for such people with a pinch of salt. I simply cannot do without windows, and I can give you sufficient reasons why I can't do without windows. I admit that other mobile OS are Good, but in my own opinion windows does the work better or best for me.

You are mistaken with interpretation of ' ultimate mobile device '. Also the device you are passing for as Surface Phone is not the Surface Phone. It was manufactured by other company.

I'm sorry Microsoft, but who cares if your "ultimate mobile device" has such a crappy app store? In the end, people will still choose Android and/or iOS because they are used to the already mature and well-established OSes, not the half-arsed OS you call WP.

I am currently a Windows phone user and I like it, but I think Microsoft lost the game long time ago. It will need a miracle for them to come back (i.e. Samsung and Apple going bankrupt).

Till the time the Surface phone appears, I will gladly enjoy both my Nokia Lumia 930 and 1020. Windows 10 on my Lumia 930 is great, often get updates and battery standby really improved greatly.

I wish them the best but here's the thing...customers don't care how nice and sleek and pretty and fluid a Surface Phone may be. Why? Because it could be the best looking and most intuitive OS on a device ever created and it won't matter unless it can run either Android or iOS apps. Without the ability to access one of those ecosystems it's pointless to release this.

mir, 24 Nov 2016They keep promising to release something amazing every sing... moreActually MS clearly called out that Lumia 950 series is for windows fans and not average consumers. Before that it was Nokia who was releasing the flagship windows phones and not MS. I like that atleast MS is not following a me too mind set to release just another slab but focusing on product differentiation. We need it in mobile market today.
