To me lag is not a deal breaker at all. The most important features to me are otg function, good battery lifee, SD card slot and a really decent loud speaker . I've had the s3 ,s3 mini note 4 and now the s7 all were great devices. Would like to have a honor8 and or op3T but it's not available in S,A.

samsung - best sellers galaxy s4 and note 4.. 5/6/7 models didnot sell in numbers to samsung estimates ..why ? customers choices .. we are reliably informed galaxy note brand has been wiped off for ever after note 7 fiascos .. loss of customers confidences .. samsung galaxy s 8 MUST be top notch with best prices .. 2017.. otherwise samsung mobiles finito ..sadly .. remember sonyericsson nokia etc yesteryears brands leadrs evaporated in thin air .. we hope samsung competes hard in market place -specs prices ..last chance saloon ..

Have you ever used a 3310?
Used a 3310 just recently and its the fastest phone to date despite being 16 years old.
Lag does not exist on a 3310.
For smartphones, yes they all have lag in some shape or form.
Just less of it on devices like Nexus, iPhone, HTC, Sony when compared to Crapsung.

I have had more Samsungs than most people here anyway, because they still are still hardware pioneer than anybody else, but their software will drag them down eventually.
Go read Anand's and other sources review, and I am sure they were bitching as well.

If anything from the S6 onwards its been better than ever. But this is why we have a market with different phones to choose from. Buy what you want and stop b**ching online. Nokia 3310's lagged. iPhone 3Gs lagged. Xbox Ones lag. PS4s lag. PC's lag. Macs lag. No OS is perfect. No app has been perfectly designed. We are getting closer but there is still nothing such thing as a lag free device.

The point I made is that all phones have a laggy point in their use, this is common but thankfully they are getting less & less frequent.
