The problem is google's implementation of services.
No use even if you give it 6gb ram or even 16gb.
More internal storage leads to more apps installed which increases the number of running services, which bogs down the response, which is call lag.
Just like Windows registry crap lag on windows, its a design flaw of android. Its never fixed. So its better to take my recommendations! Huawei, Xiaomi if you like android. Get Samsung is a waste of money.. same with Sony. The display and camera is only inches ahead, not worth the extra cost.

So they state lag,lag, lag, without rhyme or reason they believe that we can't just click on the link and read the review
So when you read lag / it mans "I don't care what the benchmarks" are
Other comment are Nokia ok simples Symbian is Touch screen user UNFRIENDLY,
numeric keypad Symbian works, try to write code for touchscreen is near impossible
Nokia went to Microsoft for that reason additionally OS security
Now Nokia is immminently Android, monthly patches
Tizen secondary apps follow the phone,
Going Tizen would mean Samsung no longer paid Google but Tizen lacks apps and would be a flagship killer so you would pay a lower price on Tizen than for the same phone on Android
The only point I wanted to make 256Gb signifies NO memory expansion does it not?

All android phones if installed with dozens of apps running in the background will slow down. Xiaomi roms do not let them start by themselves of stay for very long in the background if you are not using them, others should copy them

They should just drop the SD chipsets and go full exynos with all their flagships. It clearly was a success during the S6 and Note 5.

I have used both S6 & S7 & while they do not lag as much as older generations of Galaxy handsets there is a little bit of lag there from time to time, once a week I found on the S7 it would stutter through screen swipes or opening apps & the same thing happens on my fiancees S6, even my own G5 & 256GB 7+ there is lag every now & again.

I had installed a mus... moreI think it was, I got her to uninstall the last app she put on there after she said was glitchy & laced with bugs & it seems ok at the moment but there were still various yet minor lag issues before that was installed. My G5 with no third party apps on it does lag from time to time.

Fortunately, after I found out about the music player and uninstall it, the phone became fast again. Maybe that's the case with your fiancee's S6

I have the S6 edge and I didn't ecounter an... moreMy fiancee has the S6 & there is definitely lag there but the main issue is that it will sometimes do things by itself like exiting apps (not force closing), not allowing her to text & will not always charge. Software is up to date & I have reset it. Nice phone but not the most stable.

You guess that a 2017 flagship like Galaxy S8 with Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 even with 6GB of ram will lag after time of use? You are very wrong with that conviction about the future Galaxy S8. Even with an custom chipset with desktop performance like those that will be used in Galaxy S8? That is because you haven't none of the newst Galaxy flaghships neither you never hadn't one. Since Galaxy S5 anymore there weren't any lag in the Galaxy flagships.
