in my phone live tv link clearly working through internet. But now when i tried it's show no response every time. I tried it in other nokia6085 and it working but my phone is not working why.

That's the problem my Nokia 6085 was doing the same thing as yours I changed the flex ribbon cable and it works fine! Actually I paid a cell repair store $20.00 and they changed it. It's a faulty cable in all Nokia 6085 cells.

mines just started doing the classic blue flashing screen every few secs. So I tried a few of the suggestions on this page. Took the screen back off and found the "gasket thing" and turned it on and off and cleaned it and swore at it and no luck yet! I'm thinking maybe nokia has put some sort of curse on our phones.

nokia 6085 is the worst mobile to pres its button we have to apply large .force usualy it hangs sometimes it show blue screen

hello,i have nokia 6085 since last 8 months. Its a very nice phone along with flip feature with affordable price. Its sound and music quality is awesome and wonderfull.

This is the second of this model that I have owned. The first sufured mechanical failure (so i was told) after several months with the new one i started to get the blue screen problem that most of you speak of. I finally took the back off the screen and started poking around. There was a little rubber piece (may resemble a gasket) located near the neck area of the flip phone that leads to the joint that swivels the screen. I played around with that thinking something was loose and suddenly the screen started acting normal. Im not too sure if I completely solved my problem but since im sure it will loosen up again since it has done it once. The screen has been displaying properly for several minutes now with not blue flash or anything. Ill update you if it fails again.

EvaGrace, 14 May 2009Okay my phone just started to flash blue every couple of se... morei had the same problem but what i did was i took off the cover and turns out at the top right there is a rectangle piece try to pres sit and it should click back and your screen should work again but then now my outer mini screen on the cover doesnt work so its a win lose situation

I've had mine for 1 year and I text alot. now its doing the different colored screen thing and making the first menu double over, putting the screen sideways and just fuzzing out.

my phone did the whole blue screen flashing thing for about 6 months, but now it just depicts a blue screen or a grainy brown screen. i dont think that my phone is under warrenty, and i don't no wat 2 do!!! i can still receive and make calls, if i no the number well, but if i get a missed call, i have no idea who it was b/c the screen doesn't work!! the small screen on the front is fine...
any suggestians??

I too have a blue screen problem. It started without any waring. Blue screen flashes every 3 seconds. It makes it difficult to text, to say the least.

i have had this phone for almost a year now, no blue screen like many reported. however just today, the top half has no resistence to keep it up when flipped open. it just flops. sometimes almost like ti was on greased bearings! just did it, i didn't drop it, one second it opened and shut fine, the next time i got a text and opened my phone WHABAM! it just flops around. anyone else have similar problems? and has anyone fixed it? i'm getting a enw phone as soon as some extra cash comes into pocket but until then....

I had my phone for 2 weeks the blue screen thing happened and you have to hold the screen bended in an awkward position for simple things like txting.
This is my second nokia phone....and the same thing happened to my first.
faulty phone...

No one in their right mind should buy the Nokia 6085. Mine went to the blue screen four weeks after the 12 month warranty expired and it was useless. Everyone seems to get this fatal problem. I'll never buy Nokia again.
