Windows 10 Mobile flagships now out of stock on Microsoft's UK store, probably for good

At the moment, neither the Lumia 950 nor the Lumia 950 XL can be purchased from the company.

The Lumia 950 is Microsoft Galaxy Note 7 and then some
The Lumia 950 in itself is an exceptional high spec flagship phone, considering it came out one year before the Google Pixel shows how far ahead it was

The problem quite simply is Windows 10 was far from even close to be released even as a gamma version
Windows 10 was supposed to be released months before the Lumia 950 was due to be released, which would be released with Windows 10 installed

All Lumia phones then would receive W10.

Rather than release the Lumia 950 with a perfect working Windows 8, Windows 10 the mess it is was released also

Only half the models were deemed capable of running Windows 10 were allowed to install it, so from a phone running Windows 8 almost all experienced multiple problems, these only went away when they reverted back to Windows 8

Even after a year Windows 10 causes many problems, despite the many updates since

If this surface phone is to succeed, it needs to start with Windows 8 as a core and features added to that base.

I don’t believe anything running W10 will have performance issue, I would swap my Windows 8 pho for a brand new Lumia 950!

Ever since windows 7, you people keep talking about this so called revolution by microsoft in the mobile platform world. Yes, surface phone does have quite an interesting feature in which it will be able to run full x86 programs, but stop heralding it as the "best thing ever." You don't even know how well it will work yet or if it will even sell!

Officially.you guys make me laugh... didn't you hear Microsoft is concentrating on the phone division next year with Redstone 2 and Redstone 3 to complete the mobile operating system, the surface phone is rumoured to come with Redstone 3 (if it is called "the surface phone")

              I managed to get one at £289 inc display doc but I also managed 5% cashback plus £30 Microsoft store cashback from my Amex card making it a tad under £245.

              £245- get in!

                  Need an update. Those cpus overheat like crazy. Microsoft is the only one still selling those snapdragon chips as flagships
