Go ahead and get a Sony phone with 23mp. I'm sure you are happy with the noisy images in low light conditions. 12mp is plenty for almost all purposes. There are APSC sensors with "only" 16mp. Go figure.

Samsung will start a new trend. They want to be the first so either Dual 3.5 Jack, Dual Type C USB slot, or maybe Dual Battery.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2016Why do you need so many megapixels for? Do you print posters?Oh God. You're one of those. If you don't peony all your pictures onto posters you don't need a decent mp count.

Cause you know. If you are not making high res prints all the time then you don't deserve true high res photos. Just fake processed ones.

How dare people want truly high quality photos. And the ability to print them large if they ever did feel like it even if it's not on a normal basis.
                        The nerve of these people.

And let's not even take into consideration that a nice 24mp sensor with bright aperture means double the resolution so less sharpening and processing with double the natural detail almost....but nooooo. You're not printing every photo so 8 or 12 is more than enough

Eventually, you aren't smart enough to go look at the past. Other innovations include multi-windowing on a smartphone (SIII) and Vulkan on M. They also did other things too, but as your comment tells it, it would be a waste of time to try to resonate you.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter if it's dual or not, but which camera is BETTER.
Samsung will always have better camera on their newest high-end phones than newest iPhones. Learn to live with that.
BTW the rumors that Samsung was planing to make dual camera, were fake...just to make iPhone sound ''innovating''. LOL
