That charger/headphone shared socket on iphone 7 has its wear/tear lifelimit.
Its the decades stupidest design decision of mobile industry.

For the oldest here, this is the same problem the Samsung Galaxy Nexus had.. A software update solved it.

seems like the rf signal emitted from the phone is affecting the camera/imaging path. especially that rf signal is boosted when in lower coverage. either an rf interference or a power supply issue. thats serious! not fixable

The stock camera app on my Nexus 6P freezes a lot quite often too. So they need to fix it ASAP.

Where is Microsoft team to read this and see how "proffesionals" deal with problems, and not ditch it when many people complain about losing their contacts photos without hearing anything back.

this is what you get when you redesign a phone 8 months from launch, they should have stuck with their original designs and hardware.

Ooops too late, G logo on it instead HTC

Thank you for the early buyers of this phone. Paying $650 or more for a phone and being beta testers is much appreciated.

No issues with my (arguably but not really arguably best camera on a phone) LG G5 camera :)

Not good Google. When you plan to launch the most expensive Android ever released then you should have taken care of these issues beforehand. This is not the only real issue either.

Ok this is a top end phone from google that should work flawlessly at least in theory. Now why would this phone have a problem with its camera app the moment it enters an area with poor network coverage? The answer might suprise you. Its because the moment you take a photo with the pixel phone, it sends the raw sensor data to google servers for processing and then the processed image is sent back to the phone, and you view a photo that couldn.t possibly look so good if the phone would have done the job alone. Much in the same way siri works. So thats why the camera app crashes when the signal is poor. Other big players in the smartphone industry wil follow google idea in order to keep up with google.
