That's why I'd prefer the fingertip on the back of the phone.

I mean I like fingertip scanners, but I like extra screen estate more. If they used that chin to put more screen in (and virtual buttons on top) we would now have a 17:9 phone (1:9 for virtual buttons) with much better Screen to Body ratio and ... less chin.
As for the fingertip you can always put it on the back of the phone (I know, not as comfortable, but like I said prefer screens over chins). I bet LG G3 has better screen to body ratio and that's just sad given how old phone it is (the LG).

those are some awesome beezels but for some reason i dont like the design
