with all kind of versions out there, google lets phone makers to tailormade their own OS, which is very risky. Phone maker tends to provide no update, so you will buy their new phone. Security risk and buggy software are everywhere.

I feel like this is a useless bit of information. Yeah iOS10 has a much higher market share among iphones, They practically force you to update. Meanwhile I'm on a 4 year old phone, no way in hell is it going to be upgraded to Nougat. It's easy when you only have one company making the hardware.

I dont know why they cant just include the phones that google made only since its for ther nexus/pixel devices. Including every other OEM in this is just stupid.

That's why you go with windows 10 mobile. Out of the 12 users using windows 10 mobile, 10 of them are on anniversary update.

Is it gonna reach 15% ever? I believe next year there will be 8.x version already but companies will still gonna offer 6.x
