yeah i noticed the screen too..
It should be centered.
The design is ok, but i also get the feeling its a little bit awkward when it is slide up.
They should've just made the psp go a cellphone.
Its much better looking, with the joystick to.

It's really ugly. One of the most ugly phones to date. For such an ambitious project it's a bad visit card.

they shouldve placed the screen a bit more to the left, shouldve centered it..why is it shifted more 2 the right hand side.
I actually prefer the dark look.but the slider looks like a seperate part rather than a part of the phone..why is that?

Its weired, but he PSP Go looks much better than the Xperia Play. Why the fusion of the sliding keypad is not working for the phone in term of aesthetics. The plastic also looks cheap. Hope their is a white version too.

i actually thought he was joking about the galaxy specs 0_0
n why would i buy a ps3 instead of a xplay??? They are totally different things.i dont think u can put your ps3 in your pocket or make a call with it !!! the whole point of a gaming phone is to have access to some good games on the move while not carrying 2 different gadgets
yea the psp logo should mean something.i think sony will be porting playstation titles to android

So the battery will probably drain fast when playing games, similar to my vibrant I bet. This phone looks thick and heavy but thats the price I pay for which I guess I wouldn't mind.

Most PSP games are pretty bad, just get a PS3 if you want great games from Sony. GBA games on the other hand are amazing on the go and I'd love to play them on the Xperia Play. The GBA emulators for Android are great. And the PSX emulator I'm using right now is working just fine with most games, except for some sound stuttering in a few of them.
For gamers, this phone should be the no.1 choice.

Yah, I know. Maybe Sony will release PSP titles on XP. The Playstation logo (triangle, square, x,o) on the XP will sure mean something. I really, REALLY HOPE that it will play PSP games. The specs are promising.

i would love to play psp games in it.but i dont think it will b that easy making a emulator, even the psx emulator have some issues although its some 15y old system.it will need some xtrmly gud coding to run psp games.and still theres not even a proper psp emulator for pc...so i really doubt that

Here is the PSP Go specs
CPU: MIPS 333 MHz
Screen: 480 × 272 pixels with 16.8 million colours, 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD, 3.8 in (97 mm)
Memory: 64 MB (2000, 3000 and PSP Go)
Graphics: 166 MHz (Maximum). 111 MHz (Preset Default)
Fat: 2MB embedded eDRAM (Video Memory)
Slim: 4MB embedded eDRAM (Video Memory)
Flash Memory: 16GB
Heres what Xperia Play brings:
CPU: 1GHz Qualcomm CPU
Screen: 4.0 inch touch screen (854 x 480)
Memory: 512 MB
Graphics: Adreno 205 GPU ( 800MHz MSM7x30 or 1GHz MSM8x55)
Flash Memory: 32GB
Both gadgets have L-R buttons, and XP doesnt have the analog-thingy (what'd you call that?)
Final note: Note the Xperia brand at the bottom of the device and PlayStation brand at the bottom left of the device. Maybe Sony has tricks hidden on it's sleeves. Yes, you can play PSP games on Xperia Play, even if XP doesnt support PSP Games you will sure find decent emulators on the future. The specs can support it.

also if its a software platform under android, they should make sure that the client cant be installed in other android devices...otherwise this will turn into a big disappointment
