Just discussed with Moto support, they have confirmed Nougat update is released for Moto G/G4+.
Same info is updated at their webpage
https://motorola-mobility-en-in.custhelp.com/app/software-upgrade-news/g_id/2014/action/auth
However, they are releasing it for users in batches - Random IMEI.
Will be available for majority in a week's time.

G4 users will keep getting updates in future but Nougat is going to be first and last OS just like Marshmallow for G3 turbo users.
