Alien , 13 Dec 20165.7 and 6.2??? HAHAHA!
To me even 5.5 seems too big.
Goo... moreA 5.7 inch display with 90% screen-to-body-ratio equals to about 6.3 inch of a device footprint.
For comparison:
A 4.7 inch iPhone 7 with 65.6% screen-to-body-ratio equals to about 6.04 inch of footprint.
What's so big about it?
Edit: Of course the 5.7 inch display with 90% screen-to-body-ratio is just a rumor. So I wouldn't put my hope up too high.

The should have a X-Men and a larger battery to support as a note to worldwide students. Screen size should not below 6.9" and on screen battery life should not below 12hours along with WiFi connectivity/mobile data on.

I agree with you 100% Too much hate for a positive Samsung article. I mean, I don't even see anything negative about this article whatsoever.
+1 for you pal.

No wonder they are recalling all the Note 7s! Further, in a well known used phone store chain across the UK, they are giving unused white Samsung fast chargers and boxed Samsung headphones away with each of their used phones, which makes me think that Samsung sold the stock of the accessories supplies with the Note 7 to that chain - which is a good thing, better not let it all go to waist. And likewise, if they do use the Note 7 screen in the S8, better for the environment and save them money.
All said, I was hoping for some innovation, like a vertically curved or flexible display like the LG Flex, that still commands over £350 used here in the UK it is so rare.

How predictable.
GSMA produces a positive article on potential new useful innovations that we could all benefit from and all they get in response is hater trolls.
Bigger better screens produced for less cost with potentially smaller bezels leading to higher screen to body ratios. Well done Samsung. This is great news! :)
See - being positive about good news isn't too difficult after all!

Good luck with that in Europe! Nobody wants a such a huge display even if they have 90% screen to body ratio.
Why don't you just make tv's that are able to make phone calls and sell those as smartphones :))
I WAS thinking about maybe buying a Samsung but with those display sizes, count me OUT!
I don't have giant hands..

If it will have below 4500 mah battery, I'm going for the new gionee. And I hope Sammy will listen this time, otherwise s8 will blow like note 7. That is my curse on them for making good phones worse.
