Even though this phone I 3-4 months away people always have something to criticise about it even though its a "rumour" chill ya beans and wait and see. S8 is defiantly going to be the one for me been stuck with s7 edge since release. inteneded on upgrading to the note 7 but... well you can fill the gap.

Alien , 13 Dec 20165.7 and 6.2??? HAHAHA! To me even 5.5 seems too big. Goo... morewoah dude. I've been using galaxy ace 2 for the past 4 years and it had 3,85 inch display. But just 3 weeks ago bought OP3 with 5,5inch. Yes, at first glance it looked HUGE, like, seariously. My galaxy ace 2 looka like an iphone toy close to my OP3, but got used to size in like 1 week. And it is very good size.

The Huawei Mate 9 with a 5.9 inch screen has an almost identical footprint to the iPhone 7 Plus. The 7 Plus is actually 2mm taller and only 1mm narrower and yet comes with a 30% smaller battery in conjunction with a 5.5 inch screen. To my mind that is a pretty sad reflection on the 7 Plus.

Hope Samsung does offer some Stronger Glass on the Galaxy S8,if the screens going to be really thin,as there were loads of consumers dropping there Galaxy S7 Edge and ended up with a broken glass screen,Why?is there no news yet about the Battery used in the Galaxy S8 models after the Note 7 Saga

If a phone have a bigger battery doesn't mean it have a bigger footprint. Look at the iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S7 for example.

iPhone 7 Plus: 2900 mAh batt
              Galaxy S7: 3000 mAh batt.

Still the Galaxy S7 isn't bigger than the iPhone 7 Plus does it?

i'm going to wait for others to buy this phone, before i buy it. just in case it explodes

note 7 has 3500 mah while s7 edge has 3600 mah.

Zenodroid, 13 Dec 2016so you want to say note 7 is smaller than s7 edge ? Since when did I say "Note 7 is smaller than S7 edge"?

What I said was, a smaller battery equals to a smaller capacity.

I have S7 and without a case, my palm near thumb finger was interacting with the touch screen without my will. 5.7 is ridiculous for phone. I actually need a device slightly smaller than S7 but not with thinner bezzels. Thicker for extra battery capacity and grippy (no glass) back.

A 5.7 inch display in a physically smaller from factor than the S7 Edge would be much appreciated by me and I am pretty sure I am not the only one. A 6.2 inch screen that fits in the same form factor as the Note 7 would be even better. However, it seems many people just read the screen size without any real knowledge of all the rumours in context and instantly hate it.

Basically, this year more than ever before Samsung must be absolutely all out for the S8, without any exception. It simply must be the best that technology can offers in 2017, nothing less

Here's a spoiler. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 (Bigger Variant) will pack the same display as the Note 7. You think all those Galaxy Note 7 recalled would be scrapped? This article signals what I've said. Though it shouldn't be a problem.

Don't keep your hopes up too much. Remember when Note7 was rumored to have 6 GB of RAM, Snapdragon 821 and even bigger battery than S7 Edge?
