Unlike some other people I'm not saying that Nokia is now China made. Yes I agree that they will make new phones according to Nokia standards. But what thing differs established brands from Chinese? Camera quality and build quality. But now oneplus, Vivo etc are also rubbing shoulders with likes of apple and htc in precision built and almost all the brands are using Sony sensors, snapdragon processors etc. So only differentiating factor will be the research and development made to the camera, fast charging tech, battery technology, display software. Samsung have best displays,oppo, oneplus have best fast charging technologies, sonys sensors are working best with Googles research. the new Nokia don't even have money to make its own excellent sensors of the past, neither they have some patented fast charging tech, nor they will have better displays than Samsung. They also don't have money to do research in photography to beat the likes of Samsung, apple and Google. They cannot compete with oneplus if they are thinking about value for money excellent flagships. Nor can they compete with xiaomi in Lower midrange and entry level.

And latest one with ALKALEIDO with small plastic window is really beautiful and characteristic. I'm also ok with their bezels but they should make better use of them. Simple back-lit hardware touch controls at bottom and dual stereo speakers. Yes, sonys bezels can fit both at the same time. and I am also ok with side bezels as they make for a sturdier design.

Boxy designs is great if it bezelless because the screen is rectangular....just an opinion:-)

Does 4GB ones are performing better than Z5? The answer is a big NO. I myself use a Z5 and i can assure you if Sony comes out with 3GB RAM again, it wont lag or stutter.
And boxy? Havent you noticed that Sony has its own identity in design. You can only identify a design precision from far away if its a Sony or an iPhone. Samsung has now adopted Sony's design language since S6 before that, even looking at an S5 used to hurt the eyes. Experiments of Frosted Glass Back then Brushed Metal then ALKALEIDO, now what they have up in their sleeves that'd be unveiled on the 04th of January.
Dont come under peer pressure, a lot of people use Samsung and Apple but i feel very much satisfied while using my Z5 and did i tell you it still becomes a center of attraction on a table full of Galaxies and iPhones.

Why not Snapdragon 821? Also, they're using Snapdragon 820 because 835 won't be availalble till summer because Samsung fell behind with 10nm production. So that way no one will be able to use Snapdragon 835 in their phones till August/September.

An 820 soc, while others will come with 835 in a couple of months. Sony wants to stay a little player in the smartphone market. I have an S6, and if Sony would make Compact phone with Snap 835, much louder speakers than the horrible quite ones they put in the XZ and X Compact, only than I'd consider buying a Sony phone. Because IPS screen and camera are good already on Sony phones. But they push me away because of these stupid decisions like Snapdragon 820 in 2017.
