Still prefer to buy headset than Airpod. If I lost my headset, it cost me only $31.25 or less to buy new one.

Earpod already bundled in every iPhone package, why should i buy AirPod? Being wireless isn't convincing, maybe it will be in 2020.

What ludicrous prices in Android?...you have choice there, you can get a phone for less than a replacement airpod if you wanted!
Which manufacturer is rushed? Last I checked most release flagships on a similar schedule to Apple, which is Annually to Semi-Annually (S Models). Yes Android has mid-rangers and budget phones that churn out...but that's their purpose, to be cheap choices...that is a common theme in android though, choice, it is pretty nice. (It is also why Android dominates global markets)
Apple does have its merits, don't get me wrong, it is a very streamlined and robust ecosystem. Managed and governed pretty well. It has become a sort of status symbol. The hardware is usually built well, and the OS is quite refined.
The ecosystems are made for different tastes, it is kind of like PC vs Console...Android being PC, with customizability and choice, and Apple being console, with set rules and hardware, but for the most part everything is known to work.

Samsung didn't say Goodbye (headphone) jack. Apple is trying to be exclusive which is what people think is totally cool. But you know whats cool?? Its sticking to the (industry) standards and delivering a smartphone that gives the user full authority to use it as they want & not whats in the (financial) interest of the company (Apple). Why can't they design products around industry benchmarks?? Apple is totally uncool for me. Having said that, i know that they have been innovative in their phones but so have others. Read his autobiography or watch his biopic, he was a very controlling person with very little room for compromise.

Lool, OK now this price is just silly . True they are apple made, but really now for a battery replacement they charge you ?!? Withing the warranty period ?!? Really ?!?
I know for a fact that Apple has high prices, and you pay a lot for other stuff like marketing and company value.. and I'll give you an example...
Everyone knows by now the famous earbuds that came out a while back.. the 3.5 jack oanes, that were true premium quality, and yes how much was a pair of earbuds back then?!? Does anyone remember? 40-50 USD at least... The price sold years later after a hefty profit was made, was the one for what they were really worth, plus a small amount for other expenses... The total price was 15 at most USD... ( I've got my pair a few weeks back... )
So with this in mind... What's the real.price of these buds, I ask you ? And really, they can't afford to replace the battery withing the warranty? For free?!? Do they use such a low quality matterials now? I don't want to think back to the iPhone 6 that just came apart .. out of the box, but we will have to be great full that they didn't exploded.. no ?
P.s. this is why I migrated from Apple a while back.. I'm not at all sad with my decision, hell I'm more happier and with a few extra bucks in my pocket ;) Thanks MI

Reading the comments of the iHaters makes me laugh!
Apple...a cult...? Almost spat my coffee out on that one! Apple did not force anyone to buy the 7, I got the 7 because I was due an upgrade, had the 6 so naturally I would go for the 7 & not the 6s. Also, I went for the Plus model as I wanted a better camera because I am an expecting father so I want to take better pictures, again, I would not go for the 6s Plus for this reason. I was sold on the Note 7 but after what happened I decided against it so I am not an iSheep! & I do have the LG G5 & am quiet impressed on how good the camera is.
Even though I have my 7 Plus, my Apple Watch & my 2007 Mac Pro, I will not be getting the EarPods as they are not needed. I do not like the design & I can barely keep the standard earphones in let alone these (I do not use them on a regular basis, just use them at home when I am watching videos), I have better head & ear phones that I use with a Bluetooth adaptor & I have a pair of Bluetooth earphones as well. All give me very good quality sound.
That being said, I like that Apple have given you an option to purchase just one part of the pack if you lose them, after all, it would be your fault you lost them, not Apples, & if they was all about the money they could quiet easily turn around & make you buy the whole set again!
