LOL! And they're trying to copy the looks of the macbook air just to get a slice of the profit Apple is making coz of its sleek design.

The design of handsets is changing...and most of them are trying to follow Apple.

Nokijus, 14 Jan 2011Hello, me again :) For Apple fans and especially for Steve... more....yeah yeah....all the shiny specs......BUT, how many apps do Symbian OS have? And are they as good as those in the appstore? People are buying iphone coz of these apps... Developers are flocking into iOS coz more people are buying their apps than from other platforms. More people buying means more profit and more profit means more development. This creates a healthy eco-system for mobile development.

              Hello, me again :)
For Apple fans and especially for Steve Jobs I got bad news:

The N9 will apparently feature an ARM A9 Cortex Dual Core clocked at 1.2GHz (28nm manufacturing process so most probably a dual core) and capable of spitting 190 million polygons per second.
I've seriously suspect that N9 will use the ST Ericsson U8500 processor which is a dual core model clocked at up to 1.2GHz and comes with ARM Mali 400 GPU.
The other claims reported include a 4.2-inch AMOLED display, a 1600mAh battery, 1GB ROM, 768MB RAM, a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optic, GPS, Wi-Fi, HD video capture, 64GB storage, a slide out QWERTY keyboard with micro chiclet keys and Meego 1.2 OS.
The N9, which looks like a miniature MacBook Air, is set to be released in the first quarter of 2011, possibly at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.

[deleted post]Hey dude, do you really know what is multitasking?
If you rely on your expirience with iPhone, then you don't.

There are few types of phone users: dummies, regular people, pros, etc.
Dummies with more money use iPhone - to play games and to bragging in front of other dummies.
Regular people use non smart phones or phones with Android or Symbian, just for fun.
Pros - they are 90% using Symbian.
                That's my point.

I've said again, and again, and again, and again that Symbian has been and remains ahead of iOS in terms of features. However when it comes to pure n00b-friendly usability, Apple lead the world with iOS. This was partly achievable *because* it lacked features: there was far less there to convuse the n00bs and hipsters.

I don't know why I bother, really. If you aren't getting it by now, I suspect you never will -__-

Lets hope that one day phone makers will produce phones OS free and supply a disk so you install the one you want, be it iOS / Android /Symbian or dumdphone/native, then maybe we can get away from all this bickering about who's phone is best with what OS.

Changing this paradigm was an innovation, despite the lack of features - Apple pared down the smartphone to bare basics in order to re-introduce it to a whole new - and much larger - market.

Kinda like what Nintendo did with Wii. Nobody could argue that Wii or iPhone are superior devices to their competition, but you have to give them credit for achieving what their competitors did not.
