Anyway, IMHO all my points still stand: Apple should be given credit for making it easy to understand the benefits of a convergence device, even if it doesn't take long for many people to tire of their ecology.

Claiming that iPhone is not a convergence device reveals your ignorance and nonsensical anti-iPhone fanaticism.

next year android and i os will be extremely well established, it'll be game over for any competitor because history has shown that most technology market places only support two main players.

AAANyway, back on topic: this is good news for owners of iDevices. What I'm seeing though is a bunch of people getting sick of the iDevice ecosystem and going for something more open line Android or Symbian.

Time will tell, and you have to give credit to Apple for introducing a whole slew of new people into the world of convergence devices, even if they quickly tire of Apple's approach.

Symbian can not be compared with Android, and Android already is more than MeeGo only can dream on becoming. Nokia is the only company that still use the ouydated Symbian, and rhat proves that Symbian simply can not compete with Android anymore.

Lol, you guys argued over something that you don't get paid. if you don't like iphone, just go for other brand that you like. no one force you to buy something that you don't like and you don't have to right to tell other people to buy something that you like. nothing is perfect even iphone, nokia, samsung, lg......, even the inventors. if you said symbian os is the best, why do they need to update their os for? if apple ios is perfect, why would they need an update? remember EVERYTHING IS NOT PERFECT. everything need improvement.
