But it's also bad in ev... moreNo doubt the UI is ugly - but it's far more functional than either 'droid or iOS (example: my homescreen has contacts, news, application links and music controls). No argument here that S60 is a bit buggy (had my fair share of crashes... uurgh) - haven't really used Sym^3 yet and that's supposed to be a great improvement. But on capability Symbian wins hands down: out of the box I can do things on my n97 Mini that my sister can't do on her Galaxy S (example: photo manipulation), and iOS still won't do (example: bluetooth file transfer).

cause it's just like ... moreYes, symbian UI is pretty terrible. But it's also bad in every other aspect, which makes sense. Its the same people that wrote the internal code that did the UI, so it's a bad job all round.
And besides the UI is probably the most important part of any device. It makes it USABLE. Symbian is like driving a car with a square steering wheel, dirty windshield, no suspension, 10 confusing pedals and a gear lever on the roof.

ios 4.3 is just to fix all of those bugs that the idevice didn't had according to Apple.
The ios is full of bugs, symbian is still the best os to date with over 1.4 billion users.
