ithehappy, 17 Dec 2016LOL LG, never ceases to humour us. Apple, Google and MS, wh... moreLG makes better OLED displays than samsung, except they do it in the TV world and are the leader in the best quality TV's on the market.
Their tech is much better because they actually use white oled with stacking subpixels instead of RGB oled. It can actually produce a white oled and have better brightness levels , better color reproduction with pure red, blue, green and less issues with burn in. If this is what they use for the phones it will be glorious. It may however use more power but can't be 100% sure.

That makes no sense. What expertise can software companies give to a hardware company? What can Apple or Microsoft tell LG about freaking displays?
It would make more sense if it was the other way around, software companies asking for the expertise of hardware companies so that to bring forth their software dreams. Remember kids, software runs on top of hardware, not the other way around. There is nothing LG can ask those companies to help her with developing foldable screens. The answer is (in) pure physics...
