I love the phone :) Been using it from day one just sad no upgrade is coming out soon,
the phones fast, works great with xbox and win 10,

1. Haven't used Windows in the past months, but keep saying what they've heard about it a few years ago.
2. Android users who - for some unknown reason - think Android is great, and keep lying to themselves and others. Android is ok, but nowhere near great. Windows is great.
Android is still buggy in 2016 and will be buggy in the years to come. It's an old school OS, with no real innovations. Very few smart features when compared to Windows for example.
Windows = innovation.
Android = countless farrrt generators and other useless apps.

My lumia 435 is still smoother than half of the half baked androids out there. My gs7 however is also a great device but IMHO I think that windows 8.1 mobile and desktop was the best smoothest experience with zero glitch crap than the display drivers keeps crashing on win10 even after the anniversary update. Windows devices will never die lumia had to die because of the Nokia deal and they couln't keep the patents/ licence so let's see what's up in the future.

All the windows platform developers are also android developers, and ios developers. And funny part is... Ios devices are way less then android ones, still every app comes out on ios first. The 950 serie. Well, this devices came out as Beta. And this is the truth;). A very expensive beta, actually. I owe an 950 xl. And i did not have so many problems as a lot of it's users had, but had my fair share of them annoying ones. From slugish, buggy gallery to buggy Menus to blocking, hitting or whatever an android is normal to do but not a windows device. In my opinion, this two devices should have only now, come out, to become respected in this world. Now my 950xl is running smooth and has this errors no more (sometimes still makes me wanna throw it) but overall is a great device...the only problem is that. *NOW* is a great device. It is sad, to see so much power and good quality being bashed by ignorants having nothing better to do, and astounds me how this people can even think about themselves as more then just the lame ordinary j.i joe who wants to be, but it isn't. It is also unbelieveble how this world of technology, a great world, is now a market for fanatical ignorants that think that just because they use it, everybody should also. No difference between them and religious ones. A thing that also scares me. This people have entered my world.. A nice friendly world where everybody was telling about the new stuff, and now all you read are ignorant fanatical comments, and all they do is praising an born to be old system, that has more bugs then windows 95 ever had. I like to see new stuff out, real innovations. Android sadly has no oem that does something else besides other interface, this system aged from the beginning. That is why, a niche device like 950xl is more for me then the normal android wannabe. Why wannabe? Well, cause i see no innovation in android world, never seen a niche android device besides the zoom serie from samsung, which, to be frankly, i would not buy. Anyway, with me having a lot to say, (i can literaly write till Tomorrow), my point was that i would have still not recommended this device 6 months ago to the average people that claim a lot of apps but have no ideea how to safe sett their devices and properly use them. The normal social crapp users.

When you said parts of menu names are lost in between screens, I assume you're referring to apps. The apps are arranged in alphabetical order, how can you loose your way? It is much easier to navigate through apps on windows phone than on any other mobile OS.
You also said tiles are hard to navigate. You can pin anything to start as live tiles, ranging from websites, apps and settings etc. You can also rearrange them exactly where you want them to be, how can you find it hard to navigated the tiles you've placed yourself? Viewing pictures felt sluggish? This is a new one, never heard of that.
When I mentioned companies that make windows phones, I trying to emphasize the future of the phone. Your listed top phone makers don't make a single phone for iPhone, yet they exist.
You said the phone you tried was kind of slow/sluggish. I assume you saying this either as a hater or you got a faulty device.
Windows phones are praised for their speed and smoothness in performance, and in security as well.
What everyday task was your faulty device was sluggish at? Is it not your regular Facebook, Instagram etc. Or do you work for the CIA? You want to sound like you are special.

Windows phones target business professionals and people who want top notch reliability, quality, advanced user interface that is actually useful (live tiles vs. boring and useless static icons), security, etc.
The 950 and 950XL outperform any Android device currently on the market.
But hey! If people think fart simulators are cool, then Android is the #1 choice for them.

Take it from me and all other Windows 8 users who have zero problems no complaints
After thrashing Nokia etc Microsoft had big plans and release W10 on the 950
The 950 is an exceptional phone, the problem is W10 which wad far from being developed, let alone being released
A year after the 950 release ALL who have installed, or have W10 have problems from minor to phone disabling
It been a year AND still no phone in sight the problem is W10
If Microsoft had released the 950 running W8 and released W10 when developed and tested, well the 950 would NOT be selling for 50%
It beggars belief that it must have failed when being tested, it was released
What would you want a Lumia 950 working running W8...or for those few improvements or the few improvements Windows 10 offers but doesn't deliver.
It's not like buying phone from Network A unlocking it and then going to Network B even @ $250 for a 20Mp flagship is still too high like having a diesel car full of petrol

I loved my lumia but so disappointed i couldnt download pxt for ads on gumtree ...just couldnt do it so i hav a different phone that does ,,,i miss my lumia but i didnt at the time have any other device to use for gumtree ads... id love a lumia now bcz i can do my ads on my tablets ,,i loved the feel of the lumia 1320 miss it alot .. so if microsoft want to give me one i would take could cRe of it and never get cross when i cant do pxt on gumtree loved my lumia 1320
