The Samsung Galaxy S8 may be delayed until April, so that it's free from MWC's bustle

Reportedly, the event will be held in New York, moving the S8 away from the launch grounds of its forefathers.

    [deleted post]Speak for yourself. iPhones are way to expensive for what they offer not that Samsung is cheap but anyway much more affordable. I am sure S8 will be a market hit as it was S7 and S7 Edge. Samsung will get better and better.

        Samsung is holding out til April for the Android OS, v8.0, to coincide with the model number S8?

          I think Samsung will try to play it smart and only remove the headphone jack for the S9 models.
          They need the people to say that..oh, my galaxy s8 has the 3,5mm headphone jack, does your have one.? At least, that's my guess.

          But they also may come up with an upgraded Icon X wireless headphones and sell it with the pre-ordered phones...

                "for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and there may be plenty of changes.                     This strikes me an incredibly dumb move as many people who could not get the Note 7 are waiting for the S8 now and are most likely none to happy already, especially given the S8 may come with the same or a bigger screen in the same size phone. Yes I know the S8 won't have the S-Pen but that doesn't mean there won't be people who wanted a Note 7 who will be waiting for it.

                        So it will launch in April. Ok. I could live with that. Iphone SE in March? Who actually buys those SE version. It sort of fail this year they expect it to succeed next year? Its like overpriced iphone 5C that nobody wants. All the rumor regarding S8, I cannot believe any of it. All the news article posted within 10 hours time frame contradict with each others facts. One article said it will launch in MWC, another article said it will delay till April. One article said two Galaxy S8 with two different size will be launch, another article said there will be only one Galaxy S8. One article said the fingeeprint sensor will be embedded in the display, another said it will be on the rear.

                        And all of these whole rumors posted by various tech bloggers and journalist at around the same time. Like seriously, all of it around 10 hours ago. Stop giving us BS news. Why all the fact keep contradicting with eachothers???

                            Surely if there is 20% more technology in the phone than the price hike is justified? After all, this will be a 2017 handset, not a 2016. Upgrades generally cost a little bit more!

                                I don't believe the rumour that it's going its going to be 20% costlier than the S7 ! If it is , that's a bad move .
