LG blames cheap USB Type-C cables for V20 bootloops

I agree that knock off cables can cause problem. There are $1 usb 2.0 cable so cheap that people actually buys it. Dont buy chinese knock off. One thing I learn from buying cheap cable is that they are either super tight fit or super loose. So tight you need to push very hard to plug it in phone and not easy to take out too. The loose ones kept coming off, disconnecting and simply annoying to use. Do they even mold those cables properly in size? And Type C usb transition is worst. There are not many usb type c supplier out there that sells genuine cables. Usb type c format is too new. Knock off manufacturer takes advantage of this situation because they know they can gain profit from the lack of genuine supplier.

although i don't really like lg's statement i have to say that usb is one of the weak points on an android, especially compared to a solid lightning port. even from the micro usb 2.0 times this has been a source of problem..i have had to replace charging cables and hard disk connectors so many times...and cheap knock-offs do affect performance...i'm not talking of standardized cables like from belkin or something, the chinese ones do cause problems..on the other hand lg is notorious for having bad circuitry in its sub-boards

I have a LG G Flex2 and I had bootloops at one point. I removed some 3d party battery saver app and the phone started to operate normally for 4-5 months, then various problems started again. It might be a battery issue or software problem. I am going to send it to the seller as it is under warranty.

LG smartphones just have good cameras,otherwise they are bad in terms of screen, battery, and performance plus problems such as bootloope
