Nokia X7 appears again, looks AT&T bound

14 January, 2011
More photos (well actually renderings) of the youthful looking Nokia X7 surfaced. This time we are getting to see the Symbian^3 smartphone from all sides and once again we notice an AT&T tattoo on its...

Myself, 17 Jan 2011yes, official v50.somethn. Galaxy S using custom ROM coz or... more"...Android coz of using a normal kernel and all, bt stil, itz technically far behind Symbian(regardless of how intuitive its UI is te use)"
If Symbian is so far ahead from Android, I'm sure youe Symbian phone can do this:
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5200/screen1ez.jpg
Also, I'm sure that when your precious Symbian phone is stolen, you can take a picture of the person trying to unlock the phone, listen to the phone without the thief knowledge, know where your phone is via GPS, initiate a sound message which cannot be stopped, at full volume, drawing attention to the public that the phone is stolen, etc, etc. And let's not forget that Symbian phones are so advanced that they require 66,667% less pixels to function than a normal Android :p

what I've come te deduct is, te Android fans(like iOS fans), whatever the N8 has that their phones doesnt, they dnt NEED it until their phones support it. Real multitasking? Who needs that. World-beating camera? I always carry around my digicam. Low battery life? I always charge at work. USB OTG? Useless. Class 33 GPRS n EDGE? I always use HSPA although it chunks down battery more than twice as fast as EDGE. Aluminium casing? This isnt a fashion show. Offline maps? I have a stand alone Garmin Nuvi, etc etc. The naïvette simply wil nt likely end

Megalord, 17 Jan 2011So talking about best multimedia, can you elaborate on that... moreit's funny how n8 with symbian and its features are compared to different brands or OS. Well nokia can sync well. I don't know if its best. Recently, nokia phones released has above average audio quality, some excellent. That's good enough. =) especially that it can play popular audio formats. Nokia's CBD is on par or above Samsung's Super AMOLED but it's not on N8.

Megalord, 17 Jan 2011So talking about best multimedia, can you elaborate on that... more"And talking about best synchronization, how is it possible that a symbian device can beat a windows phone in synchronizing with the windows OS? And you spoke about best synchronization, how did N8 beat the rest of the phones in synchronizing?"
It might come to the USB speed. Maybe the windows phone did not have usb 2.0 standard. Anyway, what's the hurry when you synchronise your phone with your PC?

Megalord, 17 Jan 2011Wait a minute. You said the Galaxy S lags in comparison to ... moreyes, official v50.somethn. Galaxy S using custom ROM coz original Froyo sucked so bad. I mean after reboot there was abt 145MB free RAM. What happend te the other 370MB? Lags r bound te be less likely te occur in Android coz of using a normal kernel and all, bt stil, itz technically far behind Symbian(regardless of how intuitive its UI is te use)

[deleted post]So talking about best multimedia, can you elaborate on that? N8 doesn't have the vibrant S-AMOLED of the Galaxy S for sure. The iPhone has the reputation of being a superb music player, how is the N8 quality compared to it? No doubts that the camera quality of the N8 beats both the Galaxy S and iPhone4.

And talking about best synchronization, how is it possible that a symbian device can beat a windows phone in synchronizing with the windows OS? And you spoke about best synchronization, how did N8 beat the rest of the phones in synchronizing?

I had a friend over once, who fried everyone's brains with showing his pictures for 1 hour on our TV. It was his last visit to our place(about 2 years ago). I have wi-fi at home, and internet connection at 26MBit/s. Facebook uploads(or any other uploads or downloads) never failed. As I said, I can do very well without the N8(even with surround).

[deleted post]Woah, nice writing there. My first question to you.
                    1) How long does it take to drain the N8 by continously surfing the web over wifi?

Just for your information, i don't do video calls on my iPhone4, and my battery can last me 3 days without charging. Comes with push mail and other email wired in. If i play games it will probably die in 5 hours.

                    So,
                    2) How long does the N8 full battery last whilst playing games?

Android and iOS has got many similar apps. Port or not, they work fine on either. And the number of apps on Android store is already more than the whole of symbian apps in history. If you think symbian apps are plentiful you might be hallucinating.

So, you spoke about N8 having the best apps. What are they?

You spoke about symbian being the best in multitasking. Now, whats the benchmark in multitasking? What apps do you run, how many do you run and such. Be specific.
