Android has been walking down the wrong path by not bringing enough software optimizations and instead getting benefits from improved hardware. Just take a look at the iPhone 7, that thing has only 2GB of RAM but it kills every Android phone that has a 2x spec equivalent in speed, multitasking, and efficiency. Every Android phone manufacturer in 2017 should focus heavily on making sure they can achieve speed faster than the iPhone 7, multitasking like the iPhone 7, and make their phones more efficient in every way possible.

AnonD-615393, 30 Dec 2016Yeah, but at this rate, the size of apps aren't gonna doubl... moreBeen playing with X Compact, it used 1.7 gb of ram with some 20 apps opened in background, 1.2 gb was free. Furthermore it has ability to save 10 most used apps of users choice always in cache.
Having 3gb of RAM is really sufficient for this SD650 as is for SD820 requirements, even in future.
As for multitasking, 4gb acts slightly better, but not that much, also maintaining that much more apps in cache will make phone overheat and drain more operating maH from battery.
More capable future SoCs will require more RAM tho as apps and games for those will demand more RAM.
So for best user experience, 3gb is more than enough, even considering multitasking, as overheat and battery drain are to consider when wishing for more cache/multitask user freedom.

Stereo speakers... moreSony's skin isn't completely stock, water proofing and HQ audio is a personal preference and not mandatory, their camera is awful and can't produce good results even after tinkering with the settings and crashes while recording FHD/QHD video, the only thing left is specs and design which falls way, way behind the competitions.

Furthermore, as one previous galaxy s7 owner stated, sammys audio software is nowhere near good as XZs, Digital sound output through usb is full of bugs while on XZ it works flawlessly....

on the other hand, sony and it's developer partners are spending millions of US dollars ( maybe even as much as US$100million) for VR games such as Gran Turismo sport, Resident evil 7, ace combat 7, dead or alive xtreme 3, RIGS, etc

Aptx hd is only a lg g5 and v20, US$300 headset for only one phone and absolutely no digital audio players support it ( yet), and one headphones has been released sounds a bit like an expensive white elephant and it appears it won't be popular, also bitrate is at 576kbps which is ok, but still not audiophile quality
on the other hand, ldac bitrate is 990kbps, which is great and based on reviews, audiophile quality with the convenience of wireless, also over 30 headphones ( even modular MUC-M2BT1 portable receiver allows usage of sony ( and unofficially shure ) balanced armature , 4 av recievers, 10 bluetooth speakers, 5 mobile phones, 5 digital audio players
the difference, is like aptx is a golf gt (140bhp) comparing to a LDAC bmw m3 ( 404 bhp) is performance, while the aptx hd is like a golf gti (230bhp)

Also, as Sony doesn't use VR in their smartphones, having more than FHD is simply useless, not to mention a battery and performance drainer.
The fact that you take your time to troll every comment only shows you have serious issues or you are so poor you took this job. Either way, you have at least 1 of 2 problems. That should worry you..
