      Sharp aquos compact for example is 4.7 inches and 126mm in height. I'm sure it would be less than 126mm if sharp made their screens smaller (say 4.5-4.6 inches)

        I actually live in China. Why is it the ignorant that use the word ignorance the most.

          Many people in Asia buy Xiaomi as a secondary/backup phone. I have a redmi note 2 for travelling, app testing, and loaner to friends or relatives. A 5.5incher is quite clumsy with a case. Below 5 is much easier to handle.

            I prefer samsung A3.. and I don't need overpower CPU only for messaging, texting, browsing and make calls..

              apple has a bigger sized(4.7) phone now with a lesser sized phone than apple's who are you tyring to compete with xiaomi? is that sony? then you have picked a wrong competitor

                  Yes yes bring it, I always thinking about compact smartphone with powerfull spec

                  Literally the only choices are Iphone SE and the Z5 compact

                  The downside : iphone is very small battery and z5 compact only has 2gb of ram

                  Even the newest xperia x compact used less power Soc.

                  Please xiaomi bring it on and don't forget "the xiaomi mi mix style" that would be awesome!

Yet it is smaller at 68mm width and has 5incher.. Albeit thicker at 8mm something.. There is a market for smaller flagship grade phones in china..

                      I don't know whether this device rumour is true or not but it is plausible because they're going to global next year. How come? They're attending CES next month which means they're ready for it. So not for China only.

It's all about phablets... moreIndeed, latest poll back in october (http://en.miui.com/thread-381421-1-1.html) shows that only around 6% of users chose 4.6"-4.8". 4.9"-5.7" is the acceptable range in Xiaomi world.

                                      Please bring this to the US with America. Lte radios. All decently spec'd phones are ginormous. Right now I'm rocking a OnePlus X and am looking for a worthy upgrade.
