Most people who stopped playing weren't actual fans of the franchise IMO.
They just downloaded the app to see what the hype was about.
I've been playing it since day one and still do. can't wait for more Gen2 pokemon.

        Catch the pokemon with watch!
        That's was cool right?~

Actually the more exciting part is integration with Health App.

That will keep more people. Since they running, mind as well hatch an egg...

Well, like most well-known game in the apps store these days, even when the hype are over. The game won't just die/fade away that easy, and if those guy are smart enough to make smartwatch become the accessories of the game, then there will be people who follow it to the end.

Now, Nintendo(& Niantic)must feel so stupid that they came up with that stupid toy like accessories for Pokemon Go.

Haha AR is so gimmicky. I'm still amused by people saying that it will be a growth factor. It's so annoying to project graphics over reality via a contraption. It is useful for HUD purposed in vehicles and that's it. Of course pokemon Go died. Everything of it screamed gimmick. Especially that AR aspect of it.

VR on the other hand is very handy in games (greater actual fov than screens, movement of neck irrespective of body movements). It actually makes gaming easier in games like space/race simulators, and probably adventures too (separate movement of neck and body). VR via gaming would be a growth factor.

At least people who play this that have an apple watch won't be walking around while focusing in their phone screen. Less accidents that way.
