PSA: Don’t install OnePlus 2’s Oxygen OS 3.5.5 OTA

A large number of users, mostly with Indian providers, are reporting frequent loss of network connection after installing the update.

I haven't upgraded the OS but still experiencing the problem. Currently using OxygenOS 3.1.0

    Yes. Network is affected when using Jio Sim with another network sim.

      I am using reliance jio and airtel. Yes i have been also facing the issue of network drop and yes teh battery performance has decreased but for some user in the one plus forum they are reporting an increase in battery life. A word of advise from my end would be to turn off the data and then the network wont occur. If you want to use the data then just use one of the sim card and then no drop will occur.

        Yes. Network is affected when using Jio Sim with another network sim, be it Airtel or Vodafone or BSNL. I had tried resetting network settings, but this doesn't help either. Therefore, i have also enabled only one sim at the moment and disabled my other sim i.e. BSNL. Also battery draining very fast now, from almost 100% to 30% in 7-8 hours of normal usage. OnePlus not expecting this. Please resolve this at the earliest.

            Battery performance is very bad, i can say... network resets every 3/4 seconds and mostly the performance very very lags.. i feel the phone is dead sometimes.

                Facing the same issue. Using Jio on Sim 1 & Vodafone on Sim 2. Battery has gone worse.

                  I am also facing dropping network signal a few times per minute with dual SIM Jio (P) and Vodafone (S). Apart from this it is taking longer time to full charge of battery. I am unable to carry out my daily activity after updating to Oxygen OS version 3.5.5.

                  Would request you to help me out ASAP.

                      I'm using the One Plus 2 in Canada with Fido, SMS no longer works properly after the update. I can receive and view them, however I cannot send out SMS messages. Charging the battery also takes a very long time.

                        i am facing the network drop issue badly im using Jio and Relience 3G. now im going to downgrade to 3.1.0

                            Hi , I have updated oxgn os 3.5.5 on 24th Dec and facing this network isue very badly, the network resets every 10-15 secs while using internet, plse post the fixture for this

                              Battery performance has gone to worse then ever. Charging the phone whole day still not getting full charged. This update has ruined the phone.

                                I installed the update in one plus 2 as soon as it came since I was experiencing battery discharge issues and charging problems. I thought these problems might get resolved with the update. On the one hand, where the update has improved the interface of my phone, unfortunately now I am suffering from bigger problems. Network drop, upon using jio mobile network, is tremendous. Despite trying various solutions posted on blogs and one plus community threads, I am still facing the same issues. Upon deactivating jio (as it is my secondary contact number), there is no issue in using my airtel sim. Intermittently, the touch of my screen also becomes less sensitive, could be because if the fixes I am trying in my phone. Please come up with a permanent solution ASAP, it's becoming increasingly difficult to receive and make calls.

                                  I downloaded the update from a vpn and I am not facing any of the issues mentioned above and VOLTE is also working perfectly. I am using a jio sim.

                                      I am using Jim and Airtel and the network seems to be dropping every 20-30 seconds. I did a factory reset....unfortunately the update couldn't be undone. This is very frustrating and a pain. What is the fix? Will it be rectified soon?
