There's so much rush in getting the new products / updates in place that proper testing ain't happening. That's why the image of good brands are getting killed.
The primary reason why VoLTE update was required in India is the increasing number of R-Jio users.
That's where OnePlus guys goofed up. This seems specific to Indian customers only. I cannot use Airtel and Jio networks for more than 1-2 minutes at a stretch simultaneously. Battery drains fast, charging is a lot slower now. Calls however are stable.
Moreover, when network drops the running application freezes for a moment, which is annoying. Audio volume has also reduced a bit through the phone's speaker.

I am using Jim and Airtel and the network seems to be dropping every 20-30 seconds. I did a factory reset....unfortunately the update couldn't be undone. This is very frustrating and a pain. What is the fix? Will it be rectified soon?

I am using Jio and Airtel. Facing the same issue.. it's really irritating and people aren't able to connect to my no because of this network drops. I hope OnePlus comes up with the fix soon. Had to buy a Nokia phone just to be able to make official calls.

I've been using 3.5.5 in USA with no problems. SIM1 on TMobile and SIM2 on AT&T.

I'm using Jio and Airtel in my phone for every 20-30 secs network drop is happening and the phone freezes for a second.

I haven't received the update till now for which I was eagerly waiting for. Whenever I check, it says your phone is up to date.

I am using jio & Vodafone connection. When jio sim is enabled both connections drops every minute. When only Vodafone is enabled phone is working fine.

Same problem network dropping many times with in a minute when network dropping my all applications also restart can you please tell me what will I do now or may I downgrade ?

No issues with oxygen 3.5.5 in US with T-Mobile. Single SIM.Happy holidays all.

My OnePlus is running just fine on the new update. At first it was a little buggy but it has caught up in the past couple of days. However the signal problem discussed here hasn't been a problem for me. My signal is running strong. I have cricket as a carrier on my phone

At least they pulled it. Usually Oneplus leave it for months without doing anything and not responding to their own forums.
