Tried the Redmi Note 4 with X20. Great performance, but battery life is awfull, way worse than Note 3 with Snap 650. Mediatek still has a long road to match snapdragon processors in terms of eficiency. Even in a bigger lithography 28nn from 20nn on X20, the snap 653 will probably be a huge improvement.

amazing, if it Will launch with sd 653 in India at Rs. 13000. it can dominate all smartphone and Rock's like rn3 pro will do amazing im so excited to see it with sd653, than redmi note will super Rock's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED :):):):):):)♥♥♥

In terms of performance, even lower mid range devices are reaching saturation point. I wish companies now focus on camera. I would like all phones having dual camera a standard. Huawei starting trend with honor 6x. Looking forward for others to follow in this direction.

Hope there's an improvement in camera term too, just like RN 3 mediatek to RN 3 SD.
And if the SoC has changed into SnapDragon, then battery life (endurance rating) will be better.

finger crossed, really hope redmi note 4 with snapdragon processor coming out soon.
not really need 653, 625 quite enough I guess, 2GB/32GB, 5 / 5'5 1080p, more then good.
redmi note 3 SD the best so far, just need refresh design like note 4, bottom speaker, 2.5D, etc.
really hope too xiaomi will release other redmi note with 625, since only redmi 4 prime using 625.
