I agree, I am addicted to the advantages that the S pen offers, it's like having another little mini phone tucked away inside the phone. Note 7 was the best phone I have ever seen, and I have had em all. Can't wait for the 2017 line up from Samsung.

please give it the S Pen as an option as I am waiting for a phone with a stylus. Thought of buying the note 7 but everyone knows the fate of an amazing device.
They better provide a slot for the S Pen if they are thinking it as an option!

But it isn't the case at least as per some reports a Note8 is a sure thing coming out of some Samsung executive. It's a rumor(S-pen for S8). If Samsung is to bring a S-Pen accessory for the S-series then there is no point in a Note. As already seen last year, Note7 was just a S7E with an S-Pen and its novelties. Always thought Notes as best phones from Samsung stable.

A design flaw. It's not number of features in the phone that caused the battery issues, as Samsung basically provides many features in its TouchWiz from the very beginning itself. TouchWiz is the most feature rich Android Skins available even before Note7 itself. Infact they have reduced some of them from S6.

I just got the Moto x force as a gift for Christmas with the Projector Mod. I love it but being a Samsung user for years now... It's not "wowing" like my Note 4 did. I really miss my stylus pen as it was very practical. I went back to the Verizon store to see other options, comparisons, etc., since I have a 14 day grace period to return it. I was informed that Samsung was no longer building the notes! The rep said that I could go back to my Note4 but get a refurbished Note4, not a new one!! I might just returned the Moto x force and hope the new Note8 comes out this upcoming year of 2017. FYI,The new Moto X force is pretty awesome, but my stylus pen is a HUGE deal for me! A stylus pen and pen slot for the Moto x would have a deal breaker......

In my opinion, other than completely underestimating the amount of specs put into the note 7, and doing so with a battery that also was never intended to hold all of those specs, tgey really didn't mess up on Notes 7's. I'm a huge fan of Notes, and it would've been fine to just add the external memory factir on on Note 5, as well as the Coral Blue color on those. Also, I'd very much like to see Samsung bring the Note 8, (with some of the specs of the note 7, like the irises unlock feature.) Also, to have the Note 8 in Coral Blue as that's a huge and awesome color. I'd very much love that. But, whatever you do Samsung, unless you're working on designing a life long lasting battery, don't load the phone with too much specs which the RECHARGEABLE BATTERY WON'T BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND. This time, allow some good redesigning that will give the phone breathing time. Thanks.

I don't care what it's called s8 plus or note 8just give us a 6 inch screen and spen and everyone will be happy
