As usual looks like the A3 will not be marketed in south east asia (india included). That may be a huge boost to the flailing Iphone 5 which is seeing an incremental demand due to lack of option in that size/range. Well !! Bad luck samsung.... your loss is Iphones' gain :-(

While there is more than 20 brands of awesome android phones. Let me also remind you that Iphone users also say trash about their own iphone. Believe it or not. I am not a samsung fanboy, just a guy who's tired of Iphone loving users calling every single person who says trash about an iphone A SAMSUNG FANBOY. Iphone have flaws and this is what they mostly get trashed about. It's natural. Like the Note 7 which blows up.

Samsung has proven to all of us over and over again that it can deliver very very good products (EXCEPT the Note7). Some people just trust samsung compared to other brands that arn't really well known. I'm not saying One Plus isn't known. I'm just saying that people just trust samsung's quality. Price for some of us is really ok when it comes to the peace of mind were going to get when we buy a samsung product. I am not a samsung fanboy. I have different branded phones in my usage as of right now. I have Samsung Asus, Apple, even the one plus. I have to admit the Iphone is awesome same goes with one plus and asus, but at the end of the day. Its the trust and quality samsung has built that makes us pay the extra. If I missed something, I'm sorry. If I offended you in anyway, I'm also sorry. This reply wasn't made to offend anyone.

looking good, last year i had A3, this year i have A5(2016) so maybe next year i'll take the A7 (2017) that unless something else catches my eye (like the next gen of HTC10 or Huawei P9)
still is a refreshing upgrade ^_^

Woah woah. Hold up people. Here me out. Malaysian here and for this price you can get a Oneplus 3 and Honor 8 (Blue and Gold) for the same price. If one thing that the A Series 2017 is good at is waterproofing. Which should be a proper price for such devices considering this is the only appeal. Besides, this is under Malaysian retail price. It usually differs from country to country. But I guess the positive side of this is that it doesnt proceed over 450USD

Don't look at the Malaysia price. Malaysia keep overpriced the electronic device due to weak money of Malaysia. A5 and A7 outside Malaysia may cheaper.

See Guys , You don't get the point of Samsung Users , See everyone here knows OnePlus 3T is class as far as specs are concerned. Of Course leaving the Screen Quality as its supplied by Samsung & is inferior to 1080p sAMOLED. But Nonetheless the overall package is just good , & its good quality stuff & last long in normal conditions.
The difference is brand name to show like how people purchase iphones for showbiz purpose , similarly Samsung is considered standard brand with Quality. ( Ok , leave Note 7 ) , i.e. People Purchase for Brand Name & despite some fiasco it still has quality attached to it. ( It name is decades old ala Nokia ).
Another important factor , actually 2 Factors : one is Resell value is high anyday for samsung & Samsung service , well Resell is high because of Service , & Samsung has service center in literally any mid sized city / town out there. Talk of OnePlus Service centers & see on GSMArena page , how many talk of OnePlus not providing replacement parts , Screens etc. etc. Its Good as long as it works , but once any small issues are there , or any damage repairs to be performed , you will be left gasping ( Unless you are EBay lucky ) , or you wont get spares for OnePlus , but for Samsung the service centers themselves normally have extra stocks not to talk of how easy it spares are outside the service centers , infact any small neighborhood store will give you replacement screens or motherboards etc. etc. at 1/3rd cost of Samsung.

A3 $300 = 20400 inr
A5 $385 = 26200 inr
A7 $425 = 28900 inr
whereas, during launch of 2016 models
A5 2016 launched at 29400inr i.e. $432 Aland A7 was been launched at 33400inr i.e. aeound $490
this time hopimg for good price scheme for India *fingers crossed*
