The OP2T as a brand is nothing in front of Samsung. In every product you pay a lot of money for the brand. The brand is a lot more than the brand itself. Check the money spending of Samsung's R&D (2nd in world) and then check the OP.

I am the one who said that you should rather buy OnePlus 3 and myself I'm using an iPhone so your general sentence isn't right. And all of these have higher prices than the ones of the chinese at their flagships, but there you also get some little things and the newest innovations. But for this price, that phone is a completely different story. I mean speed-wise, this will be fighting with the iPhone 5s from 2013. And there is no innovation in it, just a refreshed A5 2016. For the cost of A5 2017, you can get the S7 used or for 100€ more you can get it new. These overpriced mid rangers from big brands are just getting ridiculous. I already thought I would've been scammed when I bought the Xperia M4 Aqua for 279€. But this is a new level of overpricing so nobody should buy it until it is as cheap as 160€ because it is worth 120€ (see Redmi 4 Prime) and you still pay 40€ for the premium brand.

        No one is stopping you.
        Samsung, like Apple, Sony, HTC, Google, LG sells products at higher value than Xiaomi, Huawei, OnePlus, Oppo etc due to their brand value.
        People who do not care about brand buy latter. People who prefer brand buy these.
        It should not shock anyone anymore.
