I hope that moto x keep growing and up dating I love mine and tell everyone about it I'd like to see it keep it's 2 front speakers and big screen with some addvances to its camera you have a really winner if you just do some follow through... Some improvements to it voice Recognition and you have a true winner.

If u want Google, buy pixel.
Each companies have different stand and Lenovo bought it for 2.9 billion. So, they have Right to do whatever.
Moto is now available everywhere in this world. And 40% sales increase compared to last year.
Google bought it only for promoting their software and patents. And they did it and sold the company.

Looks like it will have a big battery. I mean even thin Moto Z Play has huge battery so this one should be awesome.

If this is what lenovo is going to do to Moto legacy, then they are in for a terrible mistake.
Pathetic looking device and if it has mediatek SoC,then it even worse.
Lenovo itself has no stand in mobile world,but they are butchering the Moto legacy and good will they got after take over.

And the 3.5mm jack...didn't go too well, did it? At least they have common sense to fix their misstakes, not like HTC and Samsung, who insist on fixing a misstake with more misstakes.

Lenovo just want to increase sales. So X line is definitely there. Why lose an opportunity to sell in the name of a popular series. Moto X is reserved when the sales will start to go down till then there are many more alphabets coming. I think one plus is losing a great opportunity in the budget segment as many are looking for Moto alternative and want fluid stock experience. Day by day more and more Chinese brands are going for stock experience.

Really disappointed if Lenovo doesn't put the moto-mods on other lineups other than the Z. Sounds like moto-mods is a fruit from the previous Motorola (prior to Lenovo).

No way this is an X line device, this'll be something else. If they did in fact bring it back to life it would need dual front facing speakers and the X lineup trademark curvy design, that way they could price it around the 400 mark and take a piece of that cake, which they chose to leave untouched this year. Make another multimedia powerhouse like the MXPE and compete against next year's axon (oneplus aims their devices at a different kind of user). They can keep the top tier processor and camera for the z lineup.
But that's my opinion, of course Lenovo might think this ok for the X lineup (I don't really know how, but everything's possible)
