These A-series phones should have at least Exynos 7420. It would also make sense if Exynos 7870 & 7880 are used only for the J-series.

I thought exynos 7880 would be 4 A72 cores + 4 A53 cores. Or maybe I just wasn't keeping track..

The GPU is, apparently, the same as the Exynos 7870 and will struggle with 1080p. And appears to be no Snapdragon version this time. If A5 and A7 had come with SD625 at least... decent performance without sacrificing efficiency.

A5 seems good if it has an ir blaster and removal battery. It would replace my S6 just for the removal battery.

7880 for mid-range phones that are going to be definitely overpriced. It should ve been atleast Exynos 7420 or SD652/653

That Galaxy A5 reminds me of the Galaxy S4...The black variant is a beauty!
Good ol' times :)
I wonder if these will be overpriced as usual or will be slightly cheaper (i highly doubt that)
Anyways, design wise it's great IMO

Samsung might set the price of A7 as much as Xiaomi mi 5s Plus. I think mi 5s Plus will shine its way on the release of this phone.
