24 January, 2011
We just dug out some photos of a Nokia-branded MeeGo tablet, along with some specs. We are not sure... Update: False alarm - it turned out that the device pictured is just a reference platform...

I really hope the N9 doesn't have the gigantic 4.5 inch. 4 inch of screen is plenty IMO.

            I really hope Elder is wrong on this one. If Nokia has no QWERT device of note to reveal at MWC I'll go with Android. But if they do come up with something of note I'll be logging a pre-order form ASAP. Nokia "all eyes on you".

                  have a hunch only meego tabs will be announced at the MWC, meego phones will be announced only in october.

And about th... moreWho wants an Android phone when you can get Meego that runs Android programs plus Alot of other programs? Android isn't even full Linux. Then you try to bash by stating problems that have already been solved (notice that link was written in september) Lol!!! Also, what Android app out do you know of that requires a dual core? Oh thats right, none, and by the time they do start making them, the majority of useful programs will already be using single core. Get outta here with that Logic. LOL!!! Meego will own and I am American.

                    Android is a nice OS there is no denying that but I like Meego better.

                          Anonymous, 24 Jan 2011 thats just a loop hole which can easily be plugged up by google.It reminds me of Palm hitch hiking on iTunes. Nokia is better than that and I don't see them pulling off a Palm.

                            [deleted post]If you want Android apps buy an Android phone. And about that link here are the main problems:
                            -access to the Market;
                            -screen resolution might not be compatible;
                            -CPU architecture (ARM vs. x86), may work with emulation, but emulating on a 1.2 single core processor, apps made for dual/quad core processors will be a really really bad idea.
                            Btw, MeeGo for netbooks was launched in May 2010. If MeeGo rocks so bad, where are the MeeGo netbooks?

                                  [deleted post]It all depends on the adoption rate of MeeGo. If it doesn't get traction then it won't be widely used.
