24 January, 2011
We just dug out some photos of a Nokia-branded MeeGo tablet, along with some specs. We are not sure... Update: False alarm - it turned out that the device pictured is just a reference platform...

To everyone complaining that 4.5 is too big for your pants pocket, STOP WEARING SKINNY JEANS!!! 4.3 - 4.5 is the perfect size phone for me. The 4.0 and below have been keeping me from buying alot of these new phones. I've been waiting to get rid of this HD2 for months but nothing has come out that interested me. This is the first upgrade worthy device I've seen.

Now to be fair to the Android fanboys, The Samsung Infuse has a 4.5 inch screen so I don't know where these Nokia Fanboys got that Meego is the only OS that can run a 4.5 inch screen. Problem is, it's made by Samsung so good luck with your updates on it.

Now to be fair to the Nokia fanboys, On most other sites, everybody praises Android and that seems to be ok but when any other OS comes around that could possibly compete with it and Iphones Proprietary software (iOS is not a real OS until it gets on other devices other than the iPhone), Android and iOS (but mainly Android) fanboys get upset and try to downplay it by saying stuff like, it's dead, stop supporting that, you're trolling, ANDROID FTW, etc. They just don't understand that competition is a GOOD thing for customers. Oh and one more thing they don't understand will be in the above post (Read above this post)

Android as a OS doesn't support dual-core processors let alone quad-core.. Google officially announced that Honeycomb will start support dual-core processors and that is only for tablets..

In fact, we might not even bother laughing cause you wont be worth the breath. you're child's play for us. sit down with ur little blonde-chick toys and let the big boys do the talking.

They'll get all the money they want from the App market. And even if you don't want the iPhone 5, you'll look like a looser next to a guy with a 3D screen Android phone, with your bulky N9(if it ever makes it to the market).

"According to the editor-in-chief of Mobile-review.com, the N9 has been given the axe and Nokia chose to develop another device instead."
So why hasn't Mr. Murtazin already revealed us that another device; surely he must have it already? On another hand, didn't Eldar also say a while back: "nobody cares about Nokia" - yet he still writes about the company all the time?

I hope Nokia have not abandoned the N9 and the design on the early pictures, with 4 inch screen, was very beautiful. 4.5 inch is to big and not a phone anymore and impossible to carry in my pants pocket.

[deleted post]If that quad will be implemented on the second half of this year on Android flagships then the prices of dual core Androids will devaluate in just a few months. Android's progress is astounding.

Back on topic, the specs on this thing is good and 4.5 inches of screen estate is perfect. Just don't delay this thing anymore and release it on MWC and Nokia better release this thing in the US. Btw, it seems like it's the E8 Com.
