I am sure James Bond will not like this phone because he likes to put things in is pocket, you put this phone in an the slide cover comes down an turns the camera on while you do not know its turned on,thats the one bad point about the K800 also Mr Bond won"t like the dust thats gets round the joystick, why couldn"t Sony Ericsson put the same style joystick like the W810i one it prevents an makes the joystick easy to use,Hard look Mr Bond always check the phone to make sure your cameras not turned on when your moving about

Why doesn't SE release phones like the ones in Japan such as the SO903i with Sony BRAVIA technology. Its released for FOMA.
With 50 hours music playback, 3" widescreen display, 3.2MP Cam with autofocus and anti-shake, multiple mem card type support and has 2 stereo speakers each 14mm in diameter.

        http://www.sonyericsson.co.jp/product/docomo/so903i/index.html

Here's another one by Sony Ericsson with BRAVIA technology..the W43s. This one, the whole phone glows. It has 16 different skins available with 12 LEDs under it's lid.

        http://www.sonyericsson.co.jp/product/au/w43s/index.html

Of course there are other phone by SE similar to these ones but its used in Japan though.

If only SE release a worldwide version. I wonder how it'll stand out with the current SE lineup.

To gentleman below, I was't aware there was a PSP mobile. Is this true or just another I-Phone ruse as with the I-Pod phone. I'd like to see such a concept. You can imagine the N95 will have ts light as being the flagship S60 smartphone but SE will surely have something to rival Nokia, look back to the glory days of the P800/P900, competition was sweet then. I think SE have quitened down a little since the W800/K750i models but they still produce fantastic models only matched by Nokia and Samsung.

Some of the nokia gremlins on this post are raving about nokia being the biggest mobile company..well true. But technically, they are a drop in the ocean when you comapre them to Sony Ericsson as a whole:

->SONY biggest electronics giant in the world.
->Ericsson biggest telecommunications company in the world.

So it's obvious to all the n-series/brick fans here.

No Contest. (Can't wait for the new PSP mobile (YIPPY!!!))

to previous statement: Child, you have never seen the N73, right? Its weight is 116g, and thickness is 19mm, while k800 thickness is 22mm and weight is 115g.
Just for ur information, do some research before post.

I think Sony Ericsson are leading the way in the cell phone market & this phone is one of the main reason's that it is so. Compared to the N80 or N73, this phone is much more slim, weigh's less & much faster, I have used all the phones that I have mentioned & found that the SE is much more easier & faster than the other two phones, for some reason I find the Nokia N series extremly slow, which is one of the main downfalls of the N Series.

Sony Ericsson seems to be very agressive in coming with better phones. Personally I have bad experiences with Sony Ericsson phones with two of the phones which I once bought gradually losing their network strength. I also have a relative whose phone lost network.

Gosh, you people need to grow up and stop acting so childish over two brands. They are both smartphones, the are both unique in thier own way and are both class act brands. It's like being with school children, ''mine's better than yours'', grow up or don't post at all. Sick and tired of seeing this silly petit argument over SE and Nokia when all the rest of us want to do are just flick the pages with some form of intelligent conversation.

by thw way mister i think u shud get sum details about the n95 b4 u rite abt one. it has 30 frames/sec movie n 5 megapixels n obviously nokis knows this wil make the fone slower so thts y it has been fitted with a faster processor...this fone is not slow atall! its just the size which is abit big...atleast its not SE. all fone models of SE luk particularly the same...same design..just the back changed abit..same old crappy rectangular keypad n nasty old joystik..hate SE

I have never had a Nokia or an SE before, but if you look around you'll see A LOT of people have this phone, but I don't notice the N80 or N73 as much -make of that what you will...

N95 is humungously huge and totally overboard. 5 megapixels is totally unneccasary, can u even begin to imagine all the memory 1 photo is going to take, not to mention how slow the phone is going to be with this. They should hav left it at 3.2MP which is the best for a mobile yet. The K800i is one of the best phones with the best camera ALONG WITH THE NOKIA N80 WHICH IS THE BEST, CLASSIEST, AND WILL REMAIN LIKE THAT. :-)

I really like the design of that 2mpx SE in the link. Will most likely sell good. Quite much the K750i with CyberShot-sticker and 200 euros higher price but still nice.
I don´t like this "SE sucks" and "Nokia is crap" talk. they are both able to make good handsets. ""Especielly this N80 is bad because K800 has the best camera"-talk is very stupid? I mean lol, the N80 is very good and it´s features rape and ruin the K800. The camera of the N73 is better btw and it´s not like SE is going to take the world with an ability to make nice cams...

To those who compare this with N95 and conclude SE is Useless:
STFU. Its not that SE cant produce a phone to match the N95. SE is just waiting for the right time to release it.
