HMD is Finnish company made up of many Ex-Nokia executives designing this new NOKIA phones.. Manufacturing is handled by a Foxconn plant which is actually recently bought by Foxconn from Microsoft which in turn acquired it from Nokia during the takeover.. So in short,
NOKIA badge + HMD(Ex-Nokia exec) design + Foxconn (Ex-Nokia plant) manufacturing = a true NOKIA ANDROID
