    Anonymous, 28 Jan 2011nokia!!! let us have ANDROID!!!what u say i same like,'can i exchange my car 4 a bicycle':-) haha
Nokia n900 can load any OS,cause it uses linux.right now i've Maemö & Gingerbread on my n900.yet Gingerbread is not yet available 4 Adroid phones.Another dude sorted Mac OS X 10.3 on n900.

Now Meego is full linux & with higher specs of up-coming n-series phones + Meego OS,Nokia will obviously rule the phone industry 4 another life time.

Congratulations Nokia, you're still No1 now & in the foreseeable future.

    Meego rocks!

[deleted post]Think that sums it up well, all the rest have loads of models, Apple has 1 really ( 2 if you want to include last years model ), wonder what the figures would look like if it was by model of phone rather than company ?

the fact is #1 is #1, whether its by 1%, Half a percent or 300%. So i donno what gsm arena is talking about having a hard time keeping number one.. nokia outsold samsung (closeest contender) by about 160%... there's no way they will lose thier number one spot with meego coming out. The only company thats even worth nokia to consider as a threat is samsung... LG is garbage, SE is a complete joke that will never regain the top 3 spots, RIM is garbage that will never beat apple, and apple is great except that they only have one phone where as all the other companies have like 40.

        Hail nokia.

Eh no Samsung make great products that work. Apple make over priced products that are just for people who want to have some image. All apple do is add a few features to there next hand sets and charge even more money for the hardware

I think Nokia did a bad decision doing a 12Mp monster camera on a N-series device, it should be a X-series device or something like that, I mean, now every N-series phone should have a monster camera like the N8 one or it would be a downgrade. Hope they already know that.

Samsung is the biggest copycat I have ever seen.
1st came not iPhone than they came out with galaxy to counter it.
When iPad came out than samsung followed by releasing galaxy tab.
Than samsung followed iTouch by releasing galaxy player.
What's more interesting though is that all the samsung products now a days r highly reminiscent of Apple designs & products.
Galaxy s, galaxy s2, galaxy tab, galaxy player r ditto copy of Apple.
Even their touchwiz customization on android has exactly same looking icons as iOS.
And now samsung is targeting apple Mac by bringing out same looking laptops with same features.
They even followed SE satio by announcing pixon just after them.
I bet samsung is gonna announce a gaming portable to counter sony's latest PSP 2.
Samsung's philosophy is simple - just sit , relax until someone comes out with a revolutionary idea & we r gonna outdo them by creating a better product.

some say about nokia dying and all but looking at the chart it tells otherwise. Moreover i think motorola and sony ericsson are living their 9th life. They are lucky to be saved by google/android. What is good news for nokia is that they have meego coming up and if all fails they can use android like everyone else. Plan B to plan Z still intact. 8 lives left.

i dont see how can someon take the first place from nokia.because they have all of the things covered.feature phones smartphones good build quality cheap smartphones multiple OS.if nokia would try using symbian meego and android simultaniously i think they would be at least double than all the rest combyned

[deleted post]Man I totally Agree with u. Nokia is still number one, so I don't know whats all this nonsence with samsung fans. Samsung has good specs but very terrible support after sales , if you own a samsung u know this.

ansh, 28 Jan 2011why dont they give results for customer satisfaction...wher... moreVery true nokia is still number one in customers satisfaction and reguler updates. Its true samsung has good profit but their support really sucks! And their updates are the worst out there. I don't care what people say about nokia, nokia is still in the lead and I will stick with them. If I wanted a smarrphone I would go with htc no samsung for me.

My dream phone Samsung Galaxy S 2, but Nokia N8 got better phone camera lens so this is reason why i instead Samsung Galaxy S 2 i gonna to choose Nokia N8.

If Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola start produce same quality phone camera like Nokia N8 had, then no problem i will choose any company phone, just with all and best specifications (again best example Samsung Galaxy S 2).

Also i love iPhone 4 but unfortunately i will never gonna to buy, coz SILLY/NASTY RESTRICTIONS.

I was Nokia user since 1999 year and still using Nokia N95 8GB (from 2007). I love how it's good phone camera lens, how good pics i can take it, even with many new Android and BlackBerry phones you can't do better pics.

nokia is in serious trouble since AFAIK meego phones will start rolling only at the end of this year
