Returning back to nokia, well i'd say keep your options open as phones are changing all the time. They may one day make something that meets your future demands! Even the moto atrix sounds good but its what you classify as value adding that determines whether you'd be happy or not. The power of choice and demand is excellent now a days. I'm happy that iOS and android are around cos it keeps others like nokia on their toes. Had they never come, we may have say never seen this fight currently being witnessed today. I like it. If the Playstation brand never had competiton from nintendo and xbox, would we have seen their latest iteration just announced. Dont forget the stiff competition they are getting from the phone industry too. Enjoy your device. I have a N8 btw and also own an x10 (good phone but a bit big and dies too quick cos my emails stay on 24/7 and not as pocketable), Htc desire (which i broke by accident) and a few others to but just to mention a few.

Why there is so fuss about results? A company which is still selling outselling everyone in no. of phones and still managed to beat everyone is being considered looser just because some american sites are reporting so. These sites always has been biased towards Apple and android. When nokia have fm transmitter they say its very old fashioned need not to consider but if android phone has this feature everyone will be singing , praising. No of options that symbian offers is way ahead than others but who cares to compare this when they really dont have intention to do this. A phone( phone not device) with poor reception qulality, no basic phone features like sms was considered best and was praised becuase it hailed from usa but phone which has excellent messenging features, file management, excellent call reception qulaity, excellent hardware, excellent service is hated because it cant satisfy why its not opting androids since bloggers and usa sites reviewer think nokia should do. Its just hurt them that they are living in dream and world is not going with their views. Is browser's millisecond speed difference is more important than having free lifetime mavigation( excellent service and think how much you save) and new browser is in pipeline . Is having two or three more homescreen worth than having excellent camera and swear to god how many screen you are seriously using and what makes the real difference. People are being fool and start comparing n8 with apple iphone and galaxy just forgetting later both are way expensive than previous one and just by paying the difference everyone can have processor like them. How many phone are offering the feature n8 singly is offering. Use HDMI and no need for separte multimedia player but who cares over fancy look, USB feature, Bluetooth utilisation are features really need to consider but reviewers give their maximum coverage to negative opinion and even after that if nokia is still ahead of everyone so its customers reply to minority of android and apple lobby because you will not find so many nokia lovers in their segment but in nokia segment they are always present frustrated.

The new gen population are taken to the era of mobility and the use of gadgets from a small age. Heck i never had those opportunities like them. The fact of the matter is that a product such as apple is a well marketed product and like other countries, America would promote their own homegrown products moreso than any other brands. Example, schools are going to use iPads! A must if they want to school there and hence a kid uses apple from young, gets used to the os and its inefficiencies and hence are never subjected to any other os's because of the hassle of learning something new (much like the die hard nokia fans huh?!). They cannot use other os's because it has to be learnt all over again. So the software being locked down, the fact that everything revolves around itunes and also the fact of how it is configured, encourages them to buy more apple products for easier compatability (although it can work across other platforms but why the hassle!). So why they wont change to other os's? I think you get the point. The market is huge and nokia has maintained its followers for the same reasons as the above stated for the iPhone (why bother learning a new os cos symbian is efficient) and increased as well due to emerging markets cos they are cheaper to buy than a iPhone. So iPhones in my country are like virtually non existant. Here nokias, blackberrys and android phones rule. The other matter is also that you state that people that use iphones would never go back to nokia? Youre wrong. Ive seen that many times here that they drop their iphones for a different brand altogether. The trend here is blackberrys cos of the integrated internet service package (BIS). It makes me sick but these people love that for facebook, im and twitter. You can do that with any phone but they want those instead. Anyway, lastly i want to say that i have used the iphone4, droids and the symbian phones. All 3 os's are good but each one has flaws. Even android with all the hype and customisability is still something that one has to learn to use. You either like it or not. Symbian ^3 is also hugely customisable and just in its 1st iteration of release. You set the ui up once and thats that. Just like android and iOS. Now you dont set it up every day do you. I like all phones and have different brands and os's. I like all but i want a pure raw power phone like what meego promises to be. I hope it lives up to the hype.

Nokia let me down so badly with the N900. Even Skype doesn't work very well on it and Nokia say they designed the N900 for Skype. - I will go for an Android phone next time. Maybe HTC ot SE. Nokia needs to scrap Symbian and move to Android instead of trying to create another fail like MeGo.

Look at N8,you think 12 mp is everything?do you use your camera everytime instead your touchscreen interface,and their sale number declined big time.
