It is a suicide road that HTC is taking in my opinion because:
1. High price
2. Medium specs
3. Uninspiring design ( which used to be their strong point)
4. Big bezels ( for u play and u ultra)
5. Small battery ( especially for u ultra)
6. Lack of brand recognition (but this comes as a result of their products and marketing)
Except Sense skin I see no reason to look for HTC...Very disappointed...I wanted to switch back on HTC after having SGS 6 for almost 2 years but I am looking forward to SGS 8 or/and LG G6 launch.
Bad strategy HTC...Big phone, small battery, big camera bump when studies tell you that consumer will opt for a thicker phone with bigger battery and no camera bump...And big price (mostly for u ultra)

Removing the jack for implementing a technology Samsung implemented in 4.4.x and up without removing the jack. Pathetic. Stick with AdaptSound and your jack head/earphones.

HTC missed an opportunity. The smaller Ultra is the one most would prefer to buy but now comes with low end specs, substantially lower specs than the HTC10. Some manufacturers just never learn.

Bleu, more under whelming dross from HTC.
we are going to cut back the number of devices we churn out and concentrate more on making a device folk want !!
Well it doesn't seem to be working boys, more middle of the road crud desires every month, now these loads of tat.
They will have the usual dull specs, with the usual big money saver compromise somewhere, mediatek P10,wasn't much good a year ago,too little storage, slow ram,etc etc.
And of course because it's HTC,they will try and charge premium price and then scratch their heads when they don't move many..
It's simple boys, make decent devices that folk want and charge a sensible price, but you haven't learnt over the last 8 years and you won't learn now,so HTC will be on its last ever models about this time next year..
