One of the youtubers gave bad reviews to the iPhone 7s audio output through the usb-c to 3.5mm converter (we used the word dongle for something else). Later he changed the review and gave a good feedback because he just found out that the converter has a DAC built in. That was f###. He didn't review it based on what he is hearing but based on what was used.
Most of the subtle differences of these audio equipment are unnoticeable to the human ear.

I don't care much about the speaker output as long as it is reasonably loud and clear. But I want a good earphone out put, it doesn't have to be on the audiophile level but a something good enough for general music listening.
There is no perfect phone, even the original perfect iPhone is a dinosaur in today's standards.

The title of the article says one thing and the article itself another. Is Harman filing a lawsuit against Samsung or is it the other way around?

He's basically saying that a new flagship from Sony is popular when others are pretty much nonsensical and compared to a phone which has 90 percent of its units returned. What he doesn't realise it that no matter how many phones Sony ship most of it will be just due to demise of note 7 pixel looked boring and op3t was slap in face of original op3 customer and v20 wasn't in most markets by then

Tourettes Guy, 14 Jan 2017First of all, sales only determines how many people love th... moreSony's flagship is top smartphone of late 2016 after Note7's demise. So clearly your own link shows and says that Sony XZ is leading in sales compared to brands other than Samsung and Apple. Note7 isn't much different from S7E except for certain spen. The article which you linked clearly says that. "Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person? It seems that Sony fans are the former - when Apteligent reported that the canceled and recalled Samsung Galaxy Note7 is still more popular than a number of other prominent flagships, Sony fans focused on the fact that the Xperia XZ is by far the leading late-2016 Android flagship." What should i explain to u from the link that says XZ is less popular than now discontinued note7? Note7 is just an S7E plus spen and few changes here and there.

2. The Pixel, 3T, V20, and Moto Z are too far from being close to the number of units sold by Sony. Even if you don't consider sales, the XZ would still be the top tier flagship among all of them. The Pixel's software is crap when compared to the XZ.
3. It's not Sony's problem that they have better selling strategy and unit availability everywhere than any of the phones you've mentioned. Even the G5 here which is more available than Xperia X isn't selling as much as the Xperia X in Philippines

And who among them praised Samsung for audio quality? You obviously haven't tried one, or even heard an audio from the S7 Edge. At least you could've linked where you got that statement from. I could've believed that if there was a link proving it, because you maybe just constructed that to make me believe you, thus Note 7's audio is a joke. It's not even close to the description of "decent" for a flagship

Tourettes Guy, 14 Jan 2017http://m.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xz_emerges_as_top_late_20... moreThe s7 was released in the first half of the year, so it wouldn't be there. The only flagships released in that time was the Pixel, the lg v20, One plus 3T, and the Moto z.
The pixels jointly sold similarly to the XZ despite being a new phone, the v20 is a niche device with a huge display and limited availability, the OP3T and Moto Z are also phablets and also have limited availability. So the xz managed to sell better. Hardly anything to get excited about, but I don't blame Sony fans for grasping at straws.
Again, it didn't include any of the devices launched in the first half of the year, which was basically everything.

Tourettes Guy, 14 Jan 2017Most likely the same will happen as the iPhone 7 Plus. It h... more...No it hasn't. Most reviews, including the ones from this site, have always praised Samsung for audio.
Here is what they said for the note 7: "Top-notch audio output
Unsurprisingly, given Samsung’s track record in the area, the Galaxy Note7 delivered seriously impressive audio output. The phablet aced the first part of our test mixing very loud output with impeccable quality – nothing to frown at really.
Plugging in a pair of headphones caused next to no distortion – even the hike in stereo crosstalk was hard to notice without dedicated equipment. And just to one-up its predecessor this time volume didn’t drop at all here, for a flawless overall showing."
And here is what they said about Sony xperia xz: "Audio output good, but not perfect
The Sony Xperia XZ delivered excellently clean output when used with an active external amplifier, getting top marks across the board. Its output loudness was just above average so it’s a very decent performance overall.
Degradation caused by headphones is more than we are used to seeing from flagships with a moderate hike in stereo crosstalk, a little intermodulation distortion and slightly shakier frequency response. Those are hard to detect without dedicated equipment, but the fall in volume is easy to be felt. All in all the output will please the majority of users, but we certainly expect better from a flagship these days."

It has a tweeter from the earpiece, and a woofer at the bottom, and the result? Crazy ear-damaging sound with no quality and just all about loudness. Samsung never truly does "decent" in audio department. It has been their weakest point, and 2017 ain't no different
