Things I want in an HTC phone.

HTC 10 with AMOLED screen. QHD or higher of course.
Nougat out of the box.
Snapdragon 835.
IP68.
Headphone Jack.
Metal, not glass. Black preferably.

Herodroid, 13 Jan 2017I don't understand what this photo means with that 'hi-res'... moreI was thinking the same

AnonD-292864, 13 Jan 2017It's the opposite. There won't be HTC 11 this year. HTC U U... moreIt cant be 2017 flagship but if it is they are no were near the competition

AnonD-255623, 13 Jan 2017I've fallen in love with the U Play design but I can't swit... moreThe problem with SD801/805 devices is that they were too good ;-)
My own Galaxy S5 is today STILL faster than the majority of devices that come out. Which is ridiculous. Not to mention that I have MORE features than all of them (including wireless charging, IR-blaster, headphone-jack, HRM, SD-card, user replaceable battery etc..) and my Android looks WAY better on that AMOLed screen than any of the modern devices.
I'll bet that my battery even lasts longer then many of them too particularly the mediatek equipped devices with only 3000MAh or less batteries.

I've been looking to replace my phone since last year but I gave up. When my S5 broke down by the end of 2016 I ended up buying another one (and no NOT the neo version but the real S5). Shopkeepers kept on pushing me into the Huawei P8, which has a similar price as what the S5 cost now and which IMHO is a horrible device compared to an S5 (or similar).

Like I wrote before. After Kitkat Android itself went downhill and after teh Galaxy S5 manufacturers lost their pedals. Concentrating on bullshit instead of really improving the stuff that really matters. I mean LTE Cat 11... seriously... in reality my most phone companies can't get more than 50mbps out the door. :-(

And none of them will sell well, and then next year HTC will launch another series ,same story again and again :P

Who cares? About 500.000 people of the 7 billion in the world. HTC isn't worth talking about anymore. Just let them die

AnonD-292864, 13 Jan 2017It's the opposite. There won't be HTC 11 this year. HTC U U... moreThat could not be true, because it is a really large device, and many people do not want such a big device, or there will be a smaller version of the U Ultra.

I've fallen in love with the U Play design but I can't switch from a SD805 to Helio P10. Give me a sexy phone with a circular camera ring and a SD820+.

AnonD-292864, 13 Jan 2017It's the opposite. There won't be HTC 11 this year. HTC U U... moreThen rest in peace HTC!

It's the opposite. There won't be HTC 11 this year. HTC U Ultra is HTC's 2017 flagship. I read it at a different site.

I don't understand what this photo means with that 'hi-res' audio and wired headphones, when htc removes headphone jack lol. We are not ready for Bluetooth nor batteries just yet... keep the jack.

Wise move, HTC. You're losing money anyway.
